The sections that I want to be a mod on are Grow journals , Advanced marijuana Cultivation , Grow Room Design & Setup , General marijuana Growing.

Buck, I would endorse you for any forum here EXCEPT the politics section.
A moderator in that section should have no interest whatsoever in politics.
Should not even be able to spell politics without consulting a dictionary.
Someone who previously thought politics was what happened after the parrot swallowed a pocket watch.
Ideally a politics moderator would have NEVER posted there previously.
I stayed subbed to this thread just to see what people thought of themselves.
I agree with johnny. My impression of a good mod is not someone who add's to the topic but is silent.
A good mod doesn't need to know what they are talking, just needs common courtesy and knowledge of the forums rules.

I have no intrest in women (honestly)

Cheeky resposne aside, I'm relatively certain the Elite forums have gone dark. So your offer is meaningless.
In addition, my comments applied strictly to the Politics section, where discussions get quite heated and opinions are aired; but minds are rarely, if ever, changed.
That particular forum requires a mod who is completely disinterested in the topic.
The other forums - not so much.

Have you thought of the fact that an active mod is a person just like the rest of us who has feelings that can be hurt. That can cause them to act irrationally.
That's the reasoning behind my thinking. People are people, Its a big responsibility to the owner of the site and the wrong decisions can really effect the well being of the site by effecting its member base. I still think the right way to do it (sorry everyone) is to get someone from the outside. someone who has the knowledge to recognize when to take action and the wisdom to take the proper action.
I am sure those type of people are among us, If you are chosen to moderate a portion of this forum maybe you should choose a section you don't visit.

As Roast has stated earlier any bad apples among the chosen mod(s) shall be dealt with & removed, that being said I think myself among many others are capable of being responsible regardless of any "status", I would like to believe it would only promote more positive behavior from oneself, I would hate to not see Heisen or Pada post in the section they would do best in simply because they are a Mod, they are a great source of knowledge to the RIU community.

I would be a judicial mod, as a hobby. Almost all my posts have been honorable to this point.
I would want to be able to mod the forums I normally browse.
General, Newbie, Plant Problems and Indoor. Occasionally Grow Journals and Harvesting/Curing.
But like I said, it would be as a hobby if needed. If you need someone into the personal details of everything, thats not me.
I'd remove obvious spam as a priority.
