Seems to be helping my company employ people
and thats great for you. if i were you, i would start preparing for your company to go out of business if windmills are your only porduct. becasue as soon as the fools in govt stop giving them preferential treatment in the market, they will go the way of the dinosaur.

they are big, ugly, wildly overated generators that often times dont work. further, it takes about 5 acres of land to be destroyed per unit, and about 1200 of them to equal one 50 acre nuke plant. do the math

and if you were so concerned for the environment, like you lefties pretend to be, you would hate them.

Uhmmm We make wind mills as well. I should know I wrote the programs that Mill some of the parts
yes we can make windmills in America but judging from your posts, I doubt you are smart enough to feed yourself much less write a program. You probably pull a lever like a trained monkey.

i wish someone would invent a machine that collects tidal power efficiently. actually, ive heard they kind of have them. but they cant figure out how to make them able to handle storms as well as normal tides. anyone got info on that stuff?

There is only one problem with this supposedly 'objective' report. They are claiming an ginormous health care savings by closing these plants. Does anyone really think we will save 290 billion in health care costs by closing these sites?

I keep thinking this also and had a thread about it, they were working on it in Maine years ago but the project never finished.

Windmills are an incredibly inefficient power generation source. Take the man specs and cut it down to about 2% and that's what you get.
I got no problem with alternative energy, all for it. Just needs to work.

As of 4:50PM Pacific Time yesterday, our household has been on solar. We just "lit up" a 12Kw solar array that will provide more than our needs...Life is good.

thats great! i hope it works out good for you. have any pics, or info on how much area it takes to put one of these things up?
