All good points, Johnny, and excellent responses by darthd3vl. I have taken those things into consideration before starting, and I decided on this method. Yeah, we may get some Mods who are not right for the job, and they will be weeded out, heh heh. But I think the positives will outweigh any of the bumps that we run into. Our members are already stepping up and considering the job ahead, and acting in a more civil and responsible manner just at the prospect of becoming a Mod.

I really appreciate all of your consideration, thanks.

I volunter my service with one question.
Do I have to have lots of experiance smoking and growing cannabis or can I be a mod based on my supposed good looks like Ella and Mary.

I have smoked the stuff for 40 years if that helps.

I would love to see a forum for guerrilla grower's in the outdoor section and would be honored to help mod. it, i know i haven't been around RIU for as long as other's but i have been in the field since i was a young teenager. I am on every night in the outdoor section. Understand all your rules and have obeyed them by them. \

Clearly you forgot to include me in this list.. Although I have the aforementioned experience that you lack. But looks are important for getting your point across. And besides, how can you so no to this smile?

mcpurple would be great for the gardening section, hazorazo would be great for the oregon patients section.

i nominate myself for the politics section, but be warned: i would not delete name calling, pissing contests or the like. only deeply offensive things such as racism and the like.

Hi. Would be interested in the Nutrient sub forum, as it is kind of my specialty as I have a good knowledge of synthetic nutrients with most brands, as well as supplements like kelp, humic acids, micro nutrients and can even make formulas and reverse engineer name brand products to save money. Also, I can generally be able to pinpoint specific nutrient deficiencies from looking at pictures or a description.

Anyways, my main purpose would be to help new users with nutrient formula questions, answer other types of nutrient questions. Let me know if you are interested it sounds like it could be a lot of fun :D
