Hydroponic newbie help

alrite im ordering my 400watt HPS/MH lamp today and a water pump from HTG supply and picking up nutrient kit and buckets. im going to spray paint the buckets black just in case

also i have a 75gal fish tank with fish in it, should i use that water in there for my hydrosystem, i heard fishtank water is great.

alright well i just picked up all my nutes from the hydro store and now im waiting on my light. when i get everything ima start a journal since that will be easeir then using this thread

I am using the Rainbow colored Resivor tank and plant tray. I SAY LETS TAKE THE RAINBOW BACK FROM THE GAY PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!

how do u tell the water level in ur buckets and measure ph and tds/ppm when u cant open up ur buckets becuz it will expose light?

Short exposure to light is not detrimental. Prolonged exposure, especially under bright grow lights, should be avoided.

Here is the BEST information you will get from anyone out there!!!!

Stop asking ever question under the stars, and get out there and start growing. Kind of hard to grow good weed, when you do nothing but talk about it. Get in there and burn some plants.

Hey everyone, If I go in and take a big runny shit, how do you guys suggest i wipe My ASS. Should I go from the front, or from the back? Should I use pleated TP, or just regular?

You rez tank should be about 1.5 times the size of your plant tray, with flood and drain...


Almost sounds like to me this guy is just yanking everyones chain. Is he really going to start a crop???? I am starting to doubt it myself.

You guys need to stop feeding this little chickedy, and boot him out of the nest.

Really, I am not trying to punk you. You need to just get out there and get a crop going. You have enough info easily, to fry them just as badly as the best people here, in their first try.


Anyone even notice he has been asking every question under the SUN for 10 days now, and has not even GERMED a seed. I smell Fertilizer.. The Bullshit kind.

I am a on site Structural Engineer/ Structural Inspector, in other words I do not have the STAMP of GOD, and there are times I will pass someones work, on Effort alone. Just as long as it does not hinder the structural integrity. You I would fail on no Effort even if your work was correct. Because there is no work.

Lets see some picture of all this stuff you have been buying all these times you go to the Hydro store. Lets see some seeds. Show US SOMETHING!!!!!!!

Awesome! thanks dude. i think ima wait to get started on my hydro system. i got 4 females in dirt right now under p.o.s. flourescents and i just ordered my combo MH/HPS 400watt light and i think ima use that on the soil ones for now and then do the hydro. wen i get my light ill take some pics of all my shit and maybe u guys could give me some sugestions

alright got to wait till 2moro though, my gf has a camera fone i use...........since my camera busted after taking pictures to close to my lights, think radiation or something fucked up my camera. :( there goes a hundred bucks down the drain.
