my personaly experiance with water curing leads me to think that it isn't so great......
when i water cure my buds i put them in a jar for 48 hours with RO water, then 24 hours with RO water for the next 3 days, then dry them completely, and air cure them in jars to pull the moisture out of the stems..... it leaves the buds fluffier, with less smell, and they usualy look ugly as shit. when smoked it tastes like lighting up a camp fire in your bong, its EXTREMELY smooth (too smooth for me..).
it doesn't change the high very much. paybe a little less THC, but higher CBD/CBN levels due to the degradation of the THC.
i only ever realy water cure buds that are diseased or spider mite infected..... if they have webs from mites, or botrytis i will water cure them..... but other than that its air curing 100% of the way

Been lurking and watching and I don't want to be the wet blanket on this party. But when I look at your photos of prior to chop, I say to myself that this plants needs another 2 wks. I look at pic # 6 and see all those brand new calyxes on top of the lead cola, with no aging that I can see on the plant anywhere and no sign of any purple stemmed fan leafs (not that there are many fans). All I saw was a healthy plant that had rounded the corner and was sprinting to the finish line, just not there yet.
Hopefully I'm wrong because I've never grown the fast bud, but I've seen alot of plants mature. I'm sure you'll let us all know how it smokes, the true test.

Sometimes needs must, in the end it's up to you really when you chop 'em
. Leave a plant for too long and that can/will spoil it esp' when dealing with auto's.

LOL? nothing's wrong with it no.... but theres definatley NOT couch lock.....
heres a leason in terpin production.
THCV > THC > CBD > CBN.
the plant produces huge amounts of THCV in the earliest stages of flowering (the first 6 weeks....) after the first 6 weeks in finished the plants calyxses start to swell up massivley, and the THCV degrades into THC (6-10 weeks flowering....) after thi comes the Ripening stage, stage 3 (7-14 weeks).... in stage 3 the Plant stops growing. period. THC starts to degrade into CBD and CBD starts to degrade into CBN.... THIS is when the bud is ripe....
THCV gets you a cereberial high, and only lasts 15-30 mins.
THC gets you a ballanced high, and lasts 45~ mins.
CBD is COUCH LOCK stoned. a good THC>CBD mixture can keep you high for 4 hours......
CBN is a lesser product of CBD and its knows for the sleepy effect that weed gives you.
Kona, this is your first grow..... alot of the people here have been fucking you around because THEY want to see what happens when they chop a plant early.....
let the next one go. 1 full week longer than the packaging says. do it for me, to prove teh suckers that it gets you HELLA higher than this early shop BULLSHIT.
and its up to you how high you get to.
if its your first grow, and its the first plant you chopped...... of course you THINK its good, you dont know any different...... good and bad is based on perception. bring it to some connosour friends and ask them if you should have left it longer..... theres the real test.
