Noticing my first real drop in PPMs. 237 now. My flow out is 5.9, but my return flow is 5.8. That tells me the plants are using nutes and releasing hydrogen ions which basically is the equivelant to a small dose of PH down. Awesome! ha ha, If they weren't eating, I'd have hydroxide ions being released, which is what fuels the swing, or like a small dose of PH up. Right?

Still @ 5.8...Since 5pm yesterday. From what I can tell, PPM's are dropping by about 10, then back up a few, then back down. Water is dropping also. Plants are growing slowly, tops are looking alot better.

In 19 gallons, I would imagine my PPM drop would be slow right now. Plus they are not @ 100 % right now either. 250 yesterday, down to 238 this morning, would an increase make them eat more, or should I just wait until they start eating more? My concern is the low PPMs, not wanting to deplete what I have right now for nutes to the point where I have to change the res. I plan on installing an R/O system at the end of next week, and would like to wait until then. Anyone?

Bottom is in the 230's, cause it popped up to 5.9 and all good signs were disappearing. So I brought it up to 475 PPM. (Nova & CaMg+) Almost immediately they sprang to life. Gonna sit back and monitor it for a few hours. PH is @ 5.8 now. If I get a good drop, I'm going to 600.

Ok, so I have my PH stable now, and the plants are eating. Dropping about few ppm per hour. Gonna keep it at this level till I get some good growth. Anyone know what a safe increase would be, or how much I should try going up, PPMs are @ 400?

Didn't figure anyone was paying attention...It's all good on my end, lost internet for a week, bad weather, you know how that goes. Most likely will make the 1st my flowering start, plants are from 8 to 10 inches now. Fat. Just changed my rez, sitting @ 900 ppm. Anyone have a clue what a safe max would be for GH Floranova Grow? Says 1750 on the bottle for rapid growth...Seems like alot,,,anyone? Also about to buy another batch of nutes for my next run. Looking for something to top GH Flora, and Floranova. Preferably a 2 part, unless the benefits outways the hassle of 3 part nutes. I hear Advanced Nutrients all over the place. Anyway, will have some pictures up soon. Stay tuned....

Nice pictures. Don't worry too much about the absense of responses. People seem to only want to look at pictures and not post as much as they use to here. When you get to flowering and post pictures you'll have people flock to your journal then.

Looking great! Just subbed up. I've heard good things about undercurrent systems. Looks like an awesome DIY setup there. Will be following with interest.
