4 weeks into flowering, need some experienced advice.

Need a lil advice about a few things I am not sure of. Apparently the dispensary I go to doesn't divulge any grow tips for "legal reasons" so I came here.

I am 4 weeks into flowering and I have some massive buds on the plants and they are looking sweet. I nuted the shit out of them early flowering and they flourished from it. Im now 4 weeks in and I am thinking of doing the following:

Flushing the two and stop the nutes so it can eat off of its fan leaves for a more natural finish.

Cutting off the lower tiny ass popcorn nuggets.

A friend told me cutting off the tiny popcorn nuggets just puts the nutes it would waste growing that .5 nugget back into the top nuggets. Is this correct?

Bro i havnt heard of plants eating thier own fan leaves, cannabalizing itself. Dont worry about flushing, feed till the end and cut off the popcorns to give the main head more energy and give the plant more airflow.

No man dont do any of that.. Keep feeding them and leave the lower buds.. plz its too late to lollipop your plant. Leave it be and begin the flush around week 6. though pix would be great.

if i were you i'd start flushing 2 weeks prior to harvest

Keep your plant on regular nute regime until 10 days before harvest (for hydro) or 7 days (for soil), after which flush with RO water. Stopping halfway into flower isn't the best way to get the most out of your plant.

Alright good looks. Dunno if I said it earlier but this is my first grow and no I havent tried that place wheres it at? maybe they can help me more than these ass holes where i live. Who the fuck runs a dispensary and doesnt help set up grows? That should be a main function of the business lol tell people how to SAFELY and PROFESSIONALLY grow bud so they dont set the house on fire lolol.

Dude, sad truth is, dispensaries make way more money off of patients when they buy from the dispensary than when they grow their own. Imparting knowledge would be essentially bad for business.

The advantages of pruning have to be weighed against the shock and recovery time for the plant. In late flowering it's best not to do any pruning. Don't worry about the fluff. Just let her do her thing. You will get lots of bud. If you had pruned her earlier you might have gotten a bit more bud but either way you will get a nice harvest. A first grow is not the time to finesse the plant for max yield.

Dont worry too much about the flushing thing either. Just keep her on her regular nute schedule. The curing will take care of any harshness.

There are a lot of things that experienced growers do to to gain small improvements in their yields. On a first grow you should avoid getting caught up in that stuff. Put the plant under the light. Feed, water and a little training will give you lots of dope. Wait on the fancy stuff

I'm not clear why a dispensary would say they couldn't give you growing tips. You can get clones at them, and my dispensary will tell you the best way to start them, acclimate them etc. If you live where dispensarys are legal, growing is legal

I asked about grow setups and how to safely create a grow room without having a serious risk of fire and they told me they will not give me any information on that due to insurance purposes. I would assume the reason why is because if my house burns down and I say "but they told me this was safe" they then become liable. I have no idea and I am finding a different place to go right now anyway. My plants are close to being done so I am not in too much of a rush lol.
