Urgently need to stop vertical growth

I vegged some of my plants too long because I was waiting on some other plants that I added a few weeks late. As a result, two of my (pretty sativa) THC Bomb plants have grown pretty tall, and I'm not sure how to deal with their height. I've already had to raise the light twice in the past week, which I was ready for, but the other day while I was at work, one of the plants grew up to the light and the top got all shriveled up, despite the glass shield.

I can raise the light up about 6 more inches if I have to, but then that's it. Is there any way I can make my plant absolutely not grow up any higher? Can I supercrop the main stalk? Just bend it down and let it break? The plant isn't topped so there's just one stalk... I'm not sure if this is a good idea or not.

Any input is appreciated.

I can't do a screen of green, that requires resources I don't have. I will try bending the neck down for a lst and see what happens. I will also top since it is the first week of 12/12 and the top got all burnt up anyway.

What is bushmaster? A chemical like phosphoload?

I googled phosphoload and it seems pretty sketchy, I'm not sure I want to add any chemicals I don't understand to this, especially since I'm looking for an immediate fix. I don't have the time to wait for a product to come in the mail, this plant will be all the way to the top of my closet in that time.

phosphoload and bushmaster same thing. they just load up phosphorous to keep the plant short instead of stretching

sure if you are short for vertical room its a great way to bush out your plant in flower and avoid stretching. you can easily control how big a plant gets in flower by when you hit it with stronger PK nutes. that is all bushmaster is is a lot of P to stop the stretch

I decided to go with supercropping.

Snapped that bitch's neck (I think she's female, I'm looking at piece of a preflower (that came off with a piece of stem I trimmed when I cut off the burnt section) under a microscope and there's definitely a pistil in there, no doubt about it.

Your choices are: (assuming you have switched to flowering)
- Bending the plant over, basically tie a string to the stem and tie it over in a bow.
- Top it and tie down the laterals that will stretch up to compensate for the lost of the main cola
- Chemically stunt the growth of the plant with plant growth regulators as mentioned, there is also paclobutrazol which will stop the vertical growth of the plant immediately, and cycocel which will slow the vertical growth
- Build a bigger grow room

She'll be fine bro.Within the next week ta week and half that bent over top will be pushin back up towards the light.

To me this makes the most sense.You don't loose any yield,which you would have bein your already in 12/12,ain't got to go buy nothin,easy peasy.Very common problem with a very easy looked over solution.
