I been approved! My card should be arriving in the mail anyday now.
Last I checked, dispensaries would have to produce 70% of their own material on site; they could receive up to 30% from another dispensary, or off-site growers who (BTW) cannot be unduly compensated for their material. In other words, they could be compensated no more than expenses incurred in the production of medical marijuana- no markup allowed.do the dispensaries have to grow there own on site? i think a ballot prop would be a great idea...i dont really care if i can grow at home,i just want to keep growing.
They did change it to encourage dispensaries to open in rural areas. I don't know the specifics I just watched an interview of humbles were he said they changed that 70/30 rule/ What they changed it to... I don't know.Last I checked, dispensaries would have to produce 70% of their own material on site; they could receive up to 30% from another dispensary, or off-site growers who (BTW) cannot be unduly compensated for their material. However, that information may be outdated. I'm too lazy to go poking through the ARS to find out.

i went to sea of green the week they opened their first store in tempe and stopped buying supplies over the net. their sales people go from really good to flat out dull witted. i mostly know the guys in phoenix but i'm using the tempe store now and i'm not impressed with the knowledge level of 2 of them. both steered me wrong. if you don't know your product, don't try to BS your way through it!but it is not a dispensary and that is all that matters as far as the law is concerned. On a side note I think Sea of Green is a good shop with some interesting employees. However I think some of their items are overpriced at times, in my experience about 3% higher than other stores.
yeah Sea of Green is pretty expensive so is Home Grown they have a new bigger nicer store on the east side Broadway and Mckelips behind the burger king. Sea of Green is the only store in AZ that sells gnatrol, and they sell their own organic compost tea at the phoenix store. Lots of new little grow stores are up and running now and they seem to have some good prices, grow tents seem to be the big seller every grow store I been to including the new ones have a lot of tents for sell.i went to sea of green the week they opened their first store in tempe and stopped buying supplies over the net. their sales people go from really good to flat out dull witted. i mostly know the guys in phoenix but i'm using the tempe store now and i'm not impressed with the knowledge level of 2 of them. both steered me wrong. if you don't know your product, don't try to BS your way through it!
i have gone to 2 other hydro shops in the valley over the years and the prices were pretty close but yeah SOG definately pumps up some prices. i bought a ph monitor for $85 or so. on line they were $40. that's a bit too much.
Hydro Depot is The only store in AZ I ever been to that sells predatory nematodes. They even have on display mini split AC which was a big surprise to me , because you dont see them much in the USA but they are the perfect AC for a sealed room. I also try and buy from smaller mom & pop grow stores spread the love around you can usually identify these small time stores pretty easy they always have the AC set at 85 even in the summer..lol gotta pay the bills though I can dig it.I would check out hydroponics depot. They usually have more selection than most of the smaller grow shops.
