switching light cycle + 36 hours darkness question..

I'm going to switch my time schedule when I go to 12/12...

Right now I'm doing 18/6

question is, would it be okay if I give them light for 9 extra hours more then usual, before they get 36 hours of darkness and then 12/12 ?

Otherwise They'd get 45 hours of darkness.. to get to the start time I want.

Whats the 36 hours of darkness for??? you just throw them into 12/12 when your ready to flower.nothing else

I've heard of the 36 hour dark blackout before finishing. I don't think I've ever heard of 36 hours before switching to 12 hours and 12 hours. Where did you hear this from. Like John Mann said just throw them into 12 hours of light and 12 hours of dark.

their full of shit you will hear all kinds of crazy crap on the net.just flip them to 12/12 and they will show sex when their ready.usually within a week you can tell if you know what your looking for.

The less light a plant gets the less it grows.you give a plant 24 hours of light and its growing the whole time.they dont sleep or need rest their not like us all they do is eat and crap(salt lol) and oxygen.give them 24 hrs of light then flip them to 12-12 when you wanna flower.no darkout period.now when your gona harvest I hear its beneficial but I dont see how.
