ICE from seed grow thread.

yes! im using gh as well but not flora, just grow micro and bloom, lil superthrive as needed and some Epson salts
 
what does the salt do?
this is my first grow after all so im still learning.
on my next full grow im gonna do some experimenting ;)
 
how often are u changing ur res?? im sorry but i have so many questions if u dont mind lol i loose sleep over these plants

funny you should ask im about to in about 10 mins. :)
but its every 3-4 days. this things drinks like an alcoholic after an AA meeting!

im not sure of how it does it or what in it does it but it helps plants uptake nutes a little better, but i use like a table spoon with every time i change nute solutions and thats about 20 gallons full so it dosent seem like its too much
 
Sounds cool. I ordered 5 more strains that are a 15 pack and one of them happens to be Purps. :) I have a plant in a DWC though its small right now but it should take off since it has roots now. At what hight did you start taking your clones at?
 
well mine is still the smaller veg tub. holds a gallon of water and nutes at a time. like right now the water level is at about half inch from bottom.
where as when its "full" its still 2 inches from the top of the lid.

idk just when i thought a clone would survive maybe 9 inchs??

yeah i havent topped or anything yet. no cutting. nothin. I wouldnt say youre doing it wrong
cuz they look healthy and thats what matters. :)
 
fuck it im gonna go swap this solution out and give em a couple hour flush lol ill take some pics after n post
 
im also using oxygen for the roots and they seem to love it especially when i turn on the led light with the metal halide they always get a little boost
 
My tallest BC Ice plant is 4 inches tall. I might have to drop the plants down lower so that they will want to grow taller.

see and another thing, mines still under CFL only. Buddy was supposed to bring the lights last night but had to work instead. :(
sorry, i was changing the water out. instead of full VEG strength like the bottle i used 1 1/4 all the way across. hopefully it does ok. ;)
