I'm just curious if anyone has had the sheriff come and check them out after a plane see's plants or whatever. Ive been paranoid so long I guess I'm just not used to being legal yet.
Almost seems too good to be true.

You're not legal. You're growing a schedule 1 narcotic. In WA state you don't even have protection from arrest or prosecution. You only have an affirmative defense. Cops can and will legally break down your door, shoot your dog, hold a machine gun to the heads of anyone in the house including women and children, trash your house, chop your plants, confiscate your grow equipment, steal your cash and haul you off to jail in front of your neighbors. Then they can charge you with felony cultivation with intent to distribute and make you pay 15-25k to defend yourself in order to stay out of prison.

CO is the only MMJ state I am aware of where patients and caregivers have actual protection from arrest because the voters passed it as a CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENT.

Your exaggerating unless this actually happened to you because your greedy mass producing/over your limits. I know pierce county is still strict in growing but please don't scare our Washinton patients. Ive had my grow room checked by sheriff and local police. I've had 2 of my buddies garden checked also. We were all under the limit and with proper legit paperworks, the authorities were in and out like how bitches be! LoL! Seriously though, stay on your limit and make sure your not giving them the impression of your intent to sale. If you have a fat house with five cars with rims and all this other fancy shit while your growing, then yeah the cops will bust your door down and hold guns to your head. Its simple like addition and don't give them that impression. I was watching my son when the cops came. I was cooperative, showed my paperwork/my grow room, and they left. Don't give authorities a reason and play your role as a cardholder/provider so it won't happen to you what this SEVENHOURBULLSHIT is claiming.

Well, I guess people can either listen to the idiomatic, presumably migrant guy with a savage, 3rd world cock fighting image for his avatar, or me.

I know the truth is scary, but that is no excuse to act like an ostrich with your head in the sand. Yes, the picture I've painted is the worst case scenario, but that is what people should consider when deciding to play or not to play this game.

Growing pot is like animal porn. It aint for everyone.

Thanks for pointing out my image when others can see it themselves which has nothing to do to what we are talking about. The truth is not scary in this case. You don't even know how much plants he had and here you are talking about the worst case scenario. No shit!! Play the game and don't go out of bounce. Does the consequences of this has to be explained? Your opinion was very one sided and now your admitting this could be "worst case scenario" which I explained that it won't happen if theres proper paperwork and within limits. Read the original post before you explain how you got raided.

The new additions to the law exempt legal growers from arrest, prosecution and forfeiture of property

Unfortunately I've got more bad news for you. Here is the info (copy and paste) from another forum where this debate is going on.

"For example, section 401 of the bill offers protections from arrest, provided that a "qualifying patient" meet several stipulations, one of which is that:

The qualifying patient or designated provider keeps a copy of his or her proof of registration with the registry established in 18 section 901 of this act...

The problem is: There is no section 901. Section 901 (the portion that deals with the state-run patient registry) has been vetoed. Therefore no one can meet the requirement that affords said arrest protections."

I wasn't trying to get into a pissing match. I'm just stating facts.

Here are the facts about CO: The only people with cameras on them 24/7 are dispensaries and that hasn't even taken effect yet and is mostly voluntary at this point. There is actually legislation in the works to get that part of the bill removed and it will most likely be successful. Caregivers can do their thing without much, if any harassment as long as they don't go over 36 plants total. Nobody who has been arrested/charged with 36 plants or less has been convicted. They were ALL dismissed or not guilty! If you can't make a decent living and help a few patients in need with 36 plants you're either greedy or incompetent. Oh, and it's actually legal to sell in CO as long as it is between patient and caregiver. Lastly, the only person who has been charged and convicted by the DEA for medical marijuana in the state of CO in the last 4 years is Chris Barkowitz and he had 250 plants and went on the local news channel to show them his pretty basement full of flowers. If you flaunt your 250 plant grow in the DEAs face like that of course they have to respond. The same week that Barkowitz was convicted/sentenced to 5 years, a guy who wasn't even medical got caught with 300 plants but didn't go on the news and got 2 years probation in the same county! To me that's a clear message.

All but one of the MMJ cases I have researched in WA has ended with a guilty verdict! The one that was found not guilty was that transexual person whose boyfriend ratted her out to save himself. Can you please link me to one more that didn't? I would love to read some good news about WA MMJ.

It's happened several times. Don't you read the news? As I just mentioned, every news story I've read about a WA MMJ arrest, but one, ended in a conviction. If you live in a conservative county the worst case scenario is usually the norm. Something tells me you haven't been growing for very long and just jumped on the band wagon when you thought it was legal all of a sudden and now you're shooting the messenger.

Nobody pay attention to this kid, its just some federali trying to frighten medical patients in a fruitless effort to curtail the MMj momentum in Washington, notice it spends all this time harassing Washington patients about the law, when it obviously doesnt take the movement seriously, pointing to the lame signature comment.

I WOULD LIKE TO POINT OUT THAT EVERY MMJ BUST THAT HAS OCCURRED SINCE THE NEW LAW HAS BEEN EXPLAINED AS Fraudulent or Lack of Business Licenses, and anyone that knows the growers, Knows that the Federal Government has bee behind every "cleansing" of the medical "community"

besides if I had my head in a hole how would I be aware of portions of the law which you apparently arent aware of yet? for instance the section extending all of the protections to people on the registry which was vetoed to those people who simply have documentation of medical need which was not vetoed,

funny the cool stuff you learn when you fully read the law, prior to commenting

Pretty dumb how he lists his ignore list like he achieved an award or is proud of the fact that many people dislike him.
