Hey everyone, I am using soil and just wondering if anyone used floranova by general hydroponics and what the results are... Good, bad, okay... The guy at my local hydro store seems to know his stuff an recommended I get it over fox farms nutes. Thanks an advance!

Oh, lots of people have used those nutes. You just need to be patient when you're on these boards. We all have lives outside of growing.

You can also use teh Advanced Search feature to look up this specific information.

I don't like to share any opinions that I can't back up, so I can't tell you about GH. I use AN and that's what works for me, grow after grow.

Take some more time to look at the boards to see what others have said. And don't be lazy when using the boards. You'll learn more from them and others will respect you when you have a questoin that hasn't already been answered.

*virtue...?

But yea, agreed. Definitely. Although some questions do go entirely unanswered...nothing you can really do.

I've only used FN veg & bloom and got very good results.

There are endless fights over which nutes are the very best. You can go nuts reading all that crap. Pretty much all the commercial nutes that are appropriate for MJ will do a very good job.

IMO, unless you are a very experienced grower, there is more to be gained from improving your cultivation skills than blowing time & energy on nutes.

i have used them in hydro and they worked great. my only complaint was the residue it left behind in hydro, but for soil you shouldnt have any issues with that

Thanks everyone for the good feedback. Ya this stuff is working great my plant is growing like crazy, she keeps burning her self on the lights she's growing so fast!

im using both the flora nova grow and bloom i use with 1 tsp of epsom salt in each gallon and use grow till my plants get right about half way of my grow space 8-10" or around 4 weeks then right before i switch to 12/12 flower i use 1 week of 1/4 grow 1/4 bloom then go full bloom mix and in soil or hydro grows and now that ive got my schedule, timing and tasks down they are really putting out. had to pull one male but still have 2 huge females not bad only having 1 out of the 3 i planted! will be taking cuttings for clones when rooting compound comes in. but yea start out at about 1/4 to a gallon of ph'd water and every week i go up another 1/4 till i reach 1 tsp cause i grow in a 4 gallon tote with 2 gallons water and a 3 gallon pots. some use more but i like to let them tell me if they want more and some strains will. but by the end of my grows as they start to turn amber i go backwards until im back at 1/4 tsp then 2 weeks plain ph'd water to flush plant and make buds taste less chemically and more earthly or aromatic. good luck!

Floranova is good stuff. So is Maxibloom/Maxigro which is basically the dry fertilizer equivalent of Floranova. You get a lot more bang for your buck with dry fertilizers. A lot of people piss good money down the drain with liquid fertilizers imho.
