General Hydroponics Tri-Part - Getting Plants to Round Off

I'm a soil grower, but I am planning to do my first coco/salt run in a few years, to re-up the headstash. I've picked up General Hydroponics TriPart but whenever I see photos of grows using it online there are two common expressions I come across that I'm not a huge fan of.

- Plants in late flower look a bit leafy, with sugar leaves that resemble too much nitrogen in flowering
- Plants that continue to push fresh stigma "pistils" in late flower and never round off

I'm wondering if anyone has managed to come up with a schedule or approach to help flowers round off better and have neater buds by the end of flower. I understand the yields are good, but having good-looking flowers that are dense and rounded off is still important to me. Whispy flowers at the end of the flowering phase seems like a common occurrence.

I'm a little surprised I wasn't able to find this topic talked about before.
