I'm growing some catnip and tomatoes along with my girls. I like the idea of other herbs. Definitely gonna grow some oregano and dill next time.

I've actually considered having a indoor garden geared more towards veggies with a couple special herbs in there. Most of my gardening knowledge is from pot growing sites... well mainly this one... but I apply the principles to my veggie garden-nutes,watering,topping,pruning,lst- and most people say I have the best garden they have seen. For the most part plants are plants and grow within the same parameter spectrums- now if you want to grow odd crops- cold weather/desert/etc- there will be issues but otherwise stack up any unused space- it's just light your paying for going to waste.

I mainly grow a variety of hot peppers but also tomato and various herbs such as cilantro and basil. It's all good.
And no, growing side by side does not make one plant taste like another! LOL

I would be afraid my cat would go romping through my grow. Little shit gets a little goofy on catnip
other than that, Rock on Dude!!
