most items run at a normal level, but when they are first turned on they have a surge. this is why breakers usually pop when things are turned on, not while they are running. you should let your friend take a look at it... it sounds like a lot on one breaker... what size is the breaker?So what is a safe load on the 20 amp breaker? Will it pop on loads under 20 amps or is it safe all the way up and a bit more?
I figure I will be pushing it. There are areas where I could cut back though lol. This will be my 4th box in the room.
1 box with a 432 T5 Fixture, one with a 216 T5, 1 600HPS with 4 T5 54W side lights and all the bells and whistles. I just went through the room and I calculate about 23.88 ams when everything is running. I'd say I will be pushing it if I add more eh? lol
perhaps he can just put a bigger breaker in for ya... they only cost about $5 just make sure the wire size can handle it.
