This strain is known for it's mold and mildew resistance. I am checking daily for signs of bud rot and mold either way because I don't want to lose any of the crop. I have had bad mold problems in this basement in the past and thourough cleaning has kept it away for the most part. As stated, I am still learning and definately won't be growing in a cold basement again.

I got my Vortex 6 inch inline exhaust fan for $100 from eBay and made my own carbon filter for $40. Works like a charm.
But you can do something simpler and cheaper than that. Box fan converted into an exhaust or few other options.
Either way. For better results you should have some kinda fresh air intake. Not circulated air.
And I would love to be growing in a cold basement. I would be able to keep my cab alot cooler. Very ideal for me. IMO.

Just have to raise plants and pots off of the concrete floor so the roots stay a normal temp.
You could prob do something as simple as cut a hole in your cab and have one of your fans sitting by that hole so it will draw cooler fresh air into the cab.
That would be simle and cheap. Where there is a will there is a way.

Thanks for the suggestions. I do have a powerful Gabon the outside of the tent and keep the door open with it on all day. Then I moveit in the tent at night time to circulate air. I Also have a small fan thatblows air out. There are no windows in the basement and it's moist so I do have dome ventilation but just not slot of fresh air gets in the basement.

I checked out the tricomes today under a scope for the autos. The one I chopped that's been drying for two days, had pretty much all milky trics so I harvested a little earlier. However, the other two are really confusing me. They have like 90% withered brown pistols and look to be done but the trics show all clear with a few amber and some just starting to amber but no milky? Any suggestions, today is day 73 and the breeder states, 9 weeks from germination.

keep em going they will turn. Never judge ripeness by the hairs.

My auto's are in the same state. The hairs look ripe, but the trichomes are what I am waiting on, just not to my likings yet. I'm just under a week till harvest myself. I am 10 days behind you though. I waitng to get about 70% - 75% amber for my girls.

Remember that what the breeders specify is a general guideline and a week later is not that much.

Thanks for the replies, I will likely wait another few days atleast. Just surprising to see tons of clear trices on day 73.

75% amber seems a little high to me. They will prob be over ripened.

I thought about that after I posted, yeah a bit too much. I was ripped, but I do wait till more than 50%. I only grow for myself for medical reasons, and I am after as much CBD as I can get.

Day 47 flowering for the biggons. Day 73 for the auto flowers.

Also a few shots of my outdoor plot that I visited for the first time in a month. Only one of the four are thriving. Two ahve been pretty much completely eaten and one is doing ok but is small.

Damn, the pictures came out upside down and I can't rotate them on this old computer that I'm on. Sorry guys.

check out the third last pic, it's hard to see but that longy woody purple stem is the plant. It incompletely eaten by bugs it was four feet tall and is now completely lollipopped up to the two nodes and is suoercropped towards the ground due to the wind. The big nice one is about 4.5 feet tall. It's my only real hope in a decent harvest. In hoping for three ounces off her. She is just starting to flower.

I said it before you should be able to rotate your pics on the camera you are using. 20 years ago there was only bnc connectors for their systems to connect to any type of intranet. There was no general public internet at the time. How can your 20 year old computer handle such a large file type. Back then it was just D.O.S. and floppy disks.

I don't want to argue over something stupid. I don't have a camera I have a phone I use for pics and there's no options to easily rotate pics

sorry dude, not gonna twist my head around. It's really not that hard to rotate a pic.
Pff--
I just looked at them how they are. It's not any different upside down bro. Sorry. (Also you could save/rotate the pics yourself, if it's that big a deal. Lazy.)
Their lookin' nice. Thanks for the update.

Chopped another big devil at day 74. It was showing like 25% amber tricombes. the first auto is dry and in curing jars. It came out to be about a half ounce or so.

The first two pics are of my best outdoor plant. It's 4.5 feet tall and starting to flower. Its day 47 for the others and they are finishing super quick. They look like they will be done by day 56 as alot of the pistols are browning already. One pheno is super purple.
