during veg I sure do..
I've never used 24 hour light cycles.. and I realize that some people use them and that's fine, each to their own, but I personally believe that plants actually need 'dark' time or 'lights off' time. They need it in order to properly process photosynthesis and use the energy it gets, from the photosynthesis process.. but again, some people will argue with me to the death on that.. but that's fine, like I said.. each to their own.
As for flowering? I usually use a 11.5hrs ON with 12.5hrs OFF (11.5hrs ON / 12.5hrs OFF) - just gives the plant that little extra dark time.. which in my experience has actually helped my female to male ratio. I rarely have males.. I can't think of the last time I actually had a male pop up, now that I come to think about it.
