ime takin a sample, good idea, couldent i somehow speed dry it and test tomoz?

You should have seen what it looked like in person, and the day of chopping, that was about 7 weeks, and chopped at 8 1/2. Wasn't a very big plant. Nice and potent though.
Same yellowing you had too, just more so towards the bottom.

I've tested samples by drying in a toaster oven @ 120F. (48C) for 5 minutes at a time until it was dry. Taste wasn't good, but it gave me an idea of potency.
Also, another thing you can do that I've tried, take the sample bud, and cut it up really small with scissors, and put the contents in a paper bag, should be dry in a day. And tastes better than the toaster oven way.
Still nothing compared to a proper dry and cure....

Microwave low power, 15 secs then allow to cool and do it again till dry or oven at 150c i think for few mins keep checking but it is not a good way to dry and will not tell the potency plus good chance of setting the bud on fire, if it gets you high this is a good sign though, shows promise. Proper drying is the only and best way for me. You seem to be in a rush to chop. Some sun dry bud in a sealed glass jar, still weakens the bud a lot. Read up on the methods. Peace

Leave the thing alone. If you are growing in soil and have given them limited nutes then this can happen, or your plant is just hungry and quite a vigorous grower as it uses up it's stored energy. Don't add N at this point, all nutrients have a time span that it takes for them to be processed by the natural chelating agents that allows them to be consumed by the plants. It's like adding booster, or PK, normally this should be done at least 30 days before the end of the plant so it can get the benefits from thos additives. I would keep feeding it a normal low ratio npk nute and then a week before you want to chop just water only. Providing you allow it to dry and cure properly I am sure you will be right.

ok my man will go wiv that cut up up put in paper bag and av a lil tester/ c wat i av here, of course nowt beats a good cured weed but as a test well y not, well am off to cut me a test bud. Peace out bro!!!!

lads let me tell u another reason i think chop, coz wen i look at the bud sites the little tiny green leaves that stick out the budav loads of lil trichs but the leaves that r rite next to them that av gone yellow n wud expect them allso to av splashes of crystals but nothink, its like its killin it of wen the leaves turn that lime green yellow, so am thinkin leave it longer the iner green leaves will go yellow n the thc on them will disapear like it as on the other leaves stickin out me bud,,,Keep us updated.
i aint took a test bud yet coz every time i go in there n look at it its tellin me chop the whole thing down, just went down there to get a tester bud n thought man u need to chop the fooker,, lights out at half 5 so i av just under 3 hrs to make some sort of decision, leave it, take tester bud, or chop !!!! to hell wiv it tester n leave till tomoz n c if any change in brown hairs to indicate its still maturing,, i will go n take a test now n let use no how it went lads. cheers for all ur input today. nooby

I would just give a small shot of nitro, what more could it hurt if you were going to chop anyways?
You'll be surprised at what happens. 1/4 strength nitro. You'll thank yourself at harvest time.

the only thing i av with nitrogen is my canna veg nutes, if i decide to keep it goin wud that do the trick ?/ but i am heavy leaning to the chop side,lol,,, its a gr8 wonderfull crazy heartbreaking experience this grow lark, lol

regular white widow seeds from barnys seeds, dont think i rate them, will go fem next time n diferent suplier like greenhous seeds or nirvana

It may take more than 8 weeks from seed.Seed takes longer than clone.All in all nice plant just lacking a bit.Better than bein toasted though.

Being that it is veg nutes, there should be plenty of N in it, try a 1/4 dose of that (per its instructions on the packaging) with your next feeding. This is in soil right?

yeah soil grow man its due a water tomoz so tonite i will sleep on it n check them out tomoz then feed them or cull them,, thanx for the feed back gary on the nute thing

Is it the organic canna or chemical canna, organic id say hell yer feed and see if the browning stops dead in 24hours, if chemical i would have few issues. I think we all wana see it finish properly but i feel that it is looking more and more like it wants a chop, hey you got other plants that are gona make it to finish right?
