dehydrated plant 4x in a row...

okay so lately ive been very busy and slacked a bit on my watering... i know weed prefers wet and dry stages but.. i give my plant water and like a day and a half to 2 days later my 5 week old plant will just have all 4 kholas fallin over bent to the ground and all leaves falling down... why is my plant drinking this water so dam fast... i give it 3 full cups of those red party cups from heb walmart etc. beer pong cups :).. anywho.. the real question is how bad is it for this to of happened 4 times in a row?

my MAIN FAV plant in the past, Wilted STEMS and ALL BAD 3x times in its life. it still was my strongest plant.

The pots I grow in are 11 litres, when I water (once every 3-5 days) I pass about 8 litres through them. This is for plants that are established (lesser amounts are necessary for smaller plants).

Not sure how big these 'cups' you are using are - but in my opinion when growing in 1.5 gallon containers you should be using at least 0.75 gallon of water when watering.

Although I've never seen colas drooping to the ground on any of my grows, so that may be signifying something more problematic than dehydration.

I water every other day. .& i have a few larger plants I water DAILY but lesser amounts. about 1/2 gal a day per 2gal pot. (full sized plants)

Good info, water till runoff, maybe the soil has gone a bit too dry and not absorbing the water giving you dry pockets. Water then water again an hour later so all the soil is saturated. Peace
