All modern organized religions are in fact very old and archaic Ponzi schemes, they remain successful and propagate through disinformation and dogmatism, also one should never forget how hard it is to come back from grueling indoctrination(especially the american forms).


atheism isnt a belief system, or group of dogmatic beliefs, its a recognition of facts, and the rejection of ideas, ideas that are proven false or have no evidence to support them. WE have to debate these things because religion has this place in our culture that, somehow it isnt supposed to be judged, or called out for what it really is, and its gone on for too long without having its fair share of scrutiny, look what education has done for society, look at how far back we've managed to push mysticism and superstition, people used to burn and drown women over the idea that they could use magic... its the roots of religion. in order to have a successful following, you need people who have no knowledge about a certain subject, otherwise you will be called out for the fraud you are, even christians are atheists about every other religion's gods, some of us went ahead and cut the last thread, and that thread held some weight.

as for religions cause no harm , what about the 6 year old girls who are forced to marry an old man ? . mohammad married a 6 yo and she gave birth to thier first child when she was 9 . in sharia law this is still legal . the age of concent in sharia law is any age as long as you are married .

check global age concent online , sharia law countries only require someone to be married . BTW , the lowest age of consent in europe is the vatican .

I don't think that's true. There is a minimum age you can get married in most states, even with parental consent. The age of consent for sex is usually below the age of marriage.

it interesting to read about the differences from state to state but the differences will be because of the religions which are prominent in each state .
we live on a globe ( unless you believe in a flat earth ) and outside your state or country or continent it will be different .

my point was , belief is not a good thing by default , it can be good or bad just like any idea .

And sex within that marriage would be fully legal? If a 20 year old and a 12 year old get this blessing for some crazy reason, their sex would be legal and not statutory? I can't find any information that specifically addresses this situation, and I don't know if it ever came up. I did come across this article:

In taking this action he took the case out of the hands of Richardson County DA Jeffrey Goltz, who had not made a decision about criminal charges against Koso.[4]
The indictment drew international headlines until a plea bargain was negotiated. On February 7, 2006, Judge Daniel Bryan sentenced Koso to 18 to 30 months in prison.
Koso was released on May 5, 2007. As of February 2010, the Kosos are still married with 4 children. [6]

It seems that way. After all, it's not rape when you are doing it to your own property.

Thus, instead of including force as a criminal element, theses crimes make it illegal for anyone to engage in sexual intercourse with anyone below a certain age, other than his spouse. The age of consent varies by state, with most states, including Connecticut, setting it at age 16. The age of consent in other states ranges from ages 14 to 18.

It has a couple stipulations for people married, but they only apply in those specific subdivisions. It would seem anyone aged 13-15 would be illegal in michigan with no specification for marriage as per "(a) That other person is at least 13 years of age and under 16 years of age."

This isn't even true of Christianity, never mind "any religion". The only time Evolution and the teaching of any given religion are mutually exclusive is when mythology is taken as literal fact. Mythology is never intended to be taken as fact in the first place, it's people in power who don't understand the teachings that put forth the belief that you must believer every word literally.

You have a pretty weak grasp on the meaning of the word religion. A religion is a set of morals, values, and codes of conduct by which one lives their life. Mythology is a set of stories or fables that demonstrate the importance of said morals.
