What Does A Quarter Look Like?

I bought a quarter for the first time from a dealer I've never gone to before (friend of a friend), I paid 60$ for it. (Here that's generally the going rate from people I've talked to), and I am just not sure on weight, neither of us had a scale and to me it looks about 7 grams worth, but I'm not too sure. So I just thought I'd ask some more well-educated people here what they thought.IMG_20110712_221457.jpg

i cant tell how dense thoose nugs are but looks more like a 1/8th or a little over that to me but impossible to know without a scale.

thats not a quarter dude, sorry...get a scale, asap....20 bucks at the smoke shop. the nugs look not so bomb either....i live in cali and i wouldnt even pay 60 for 10 Gs, ofcourse i grow my own,lol...

Everyone is right on! The dealer Gypped you good! You can tell a quarter if it is 2 fingers tall (or 1 and 1/2-2/3 fingers if you have manly hands)if all compacted evenly on the bottom of a regular sandwich bag and one finger for an eighth (crude and universal way of estimating the weight of a bag unless it's fresh weed thats still wet, it dries out to half or less of weight).

dead on answer.. an 1/8th should be about one finger wide on the bottom of a bag, and a 1/4 should be about two fingers high from the bottom of a regular baggy..
and i'd agree, that looks to be a lil over an 1/8th or so, depending on how dense those nugs are, which they look to be pretty dense, but nowhere near a quarters worth ime..

They are pretty dense. But I will have to go pickup a scale I guess. There are no smokeshops around here. And the bud is by far the best I've ever smoked.

I've only ever bought in small quantities before, but I've had some given to me from when I was in NY, and Florida, SF Bay, and Portland and now here in Canada, and I'd have to brag that Canadian bud is by far the best I've had.

I'll post back after I get a scale.

Try a restaurant supply or a jewlers supply or any supply that demands the weight of grams in the field. Good luck

Now im no experienced grower, thats for sure, but i've probably weighed out several hundreds of lbs in my life down into anything from grams to oz's with either digi scales or postal scales. Im going to have to say thats about 4-4.2 grams, its over an 8th but for sure not a quarter, if there was another nug in there as big as the largest one you got, you'd be closer to a quarter then but probably still off by a gram

edit: now i forgot to add this part, this is only a guess, as without holding the nugs i can't tell for certain how dense they are, they do look a bit fluffy but u say they are dense so im taking your word for it and stickin with 4 grams, but you've smoked some so we wont know how much it really was for certain..
