so everything has been cut down and its not looking as nice as it did a few weeks ago. The lights have been pretty close (on the verge of too close, but still good with the outside temps), but a couple weeks ago there was a random week of hot weather and the temps jumped. I moved the lights up a bit, but the girls still didn't look to happy just from the overall heat. the buds fluffed out a bit and the leaves near the top of the buds got crispy. I quick dried one plant because im hurting and there is enough to dry and cure properly for later. To my horror there was seeds in it. As I trimmed the other plants I also noticed seeds in everything. None of the seeds are fully developed though. Not too sure what happened. I dont have any males and dont know anyone with males, so pollen transfer seems unlikely. I asked a few people I know that are experienced and they said the light cycle must have messed up, but there have been no power outages, no problems with electricity, and I know for sure no light leaks. Maybe my timers are screwing up. On the up side, the bud is pretty tasty and smells really nice. Cant wait to try some cured stuff. I didn't take any pictures of the finished product because it was a hectic last couple of weeks so I didnt really have time. Ill post some dried nugs in a week or so

if you used feminized seeds or a clone from a mother that came from a feminized seed, that might be your problem. I have learned from personal experience that some feminized seeds will still have inter-sexing issues especially after a few generations of cloning (look for little yellow flowers...they look kinda like tiny bananas they pop up on the bud not in the crotch of the stem like male pollen sacs.) if you have clones of that batch they will be progressively worse (if this is the problem) but maybe a light leak is the prob too. Though IMHO it really sounds just like an inter-sexing problem I had with a strain grown from a feminized seed too...

Heres some AK48 in supersoil with aact teas also applied.

OK these plants are about 4 weeks in there abouts. Mabey 5 weeks Im not sure I did not keep track...
These were vegged for about 5-6 weeks.
Gotta love this method.

Nice plants as far as starting with Vortex GOOD CHOICE. That is my favorite strain i will be getting a 10 pack soonHeres some AK48 in supersoil with aact teas also applied.

Hey thanks for noticing...I love my plants. Lots put in with lots given back in the end. I have 1 ak48 that may pull off 4.5 ounces which is good for 5 gallon pots with 1.5 months veg. At least I think thats pretty good weight. What is avarage for a 1.5 month veg in 5 gallons of soil organic 100% vegging under 8 t5 blue bulbs and flowering under a 1000 hps. This is the best I have done yet. That ak48 has really really tight buds. Very hard nuggets of fruity goodness. I think it smells like juicyfruit gum when its growing and similer taste smokeing it. I just finished a Blackjack and its still hanging in the drying closet....man that is one strange smelling plant. Its like a sweet skunky red liquorice or a fermented fruit.

Im running all mine is 7 gallon pots. This is my first run with SS but as good as these girls are looking im hooked and wont be going to any other way of growing. Ill have a report on yields in a few more months it might be time to start looking at trics soon
I like the description my Sour Cream smells like yours usual Sour Diesel But my Pineapple Express smells like if they were to ever make a Pineapple juicy fruit i love it keep up the good work

about to do my first run in ss after reading a ton of posts i cant seem to find any info on if we need to ph down or up tap water,
or ro water,i have a new ro system but havent switched yet due to lack of knowledge and confidence to change what is working ok.
i know checking my runoff will help by knowing what the ph is but i have no pen,so im wondering if you could advise with your
experience with ss and ro water,im pretty sure my water is right around 7.0 out the tap?
i believe sidecar had the same question but no reply any info would be a lot of help

Just to help everyone who can't seem to find answer's....please make sure you google search. Makes finding answers very easy. I knew I had read it somewhere, but taking the time going page after page of thread after thread to find it takes way too long. For example to find this last answer all I did was simply put in the keywords Subcool PH Water on a google search and wa-laa I found my answer.

Yeah I never adjust the ph of my water with super soil. There is enough lime in the mix to buffer your medium to where it's not really necessary unless your PH is completely out of whack.
