fluoride is not a poison in small amounts that they add. go ask any chemist. :dunce:
BUT they just had to cut the suggested amount in half after 50+ years because of a condition that it promotes that softens enamel and makes one more susceptible to cavities. Conspiracy or not they fucked up. Leave my shit ALONE!

fluorosis, the condition you describe, is rather minor.

in any case, it is not the "chemical lobotomy to make us all passive and turn us into nazi germany" like your fellow ron paul cohorts say. :eyesmoke:

But we can agree that i/we would've been better off without government interference right?

nope.

the neighborhood i live in has some fairly low SES folks. they often use the dentist at the college my wife goes to (dentists in training, really).

my wife goes there too for dental checkups. the first time she went, the doctor remarked that she must not be from around here.

why? because we have no fluoride in our water, and it leaves a noticeable pattern of worse dental health. whereas my wife grew up drinking fluoride water.

the negatives of fluorosis, which is very rare, is negated by the positive effects of fluoride (which is becoming more irrelevant as other topical applications of fluoride become widespread).

Yes it is- Ask a chemist
that must explain why i drank fluoride water as a kid and am now dead, because it is so poisonous :dunce:

in small ratios, fluoride is not poisonous or dangerous to humans: FACT. if you want to argue otherwise, enjoy your delusion. there is empirical evidence plenty to prove you completely and utterly wrong.

you also heard about other wordly creatures of unimaginable strength....classified...should said outbreak occur in an urban area...jesus...classified... and posted it here as if it were a concern.

there are not a whole shit ton of studies, but they do consistently prove the (slight) positive effects of fluoridated water.

Not on CNN and the AP wire unlike the story of having too much fluoride in the water.

how many cases of fluoride poisoning due to drinking tap water have you heard of?

fluorisis is easily fixed by the way. as well as fairly rare.
It isn't a case of poisoning or toxicity from the reports. It's a result of long term exposure to the government regulated levels. They fucked up. Once again. So WHY should i listen to them?

OUR federal government just reaffirmed it's position that cannabis has "no medicinal value". i am living proof, backed by medical documentation via multiple doctors and the testimony of hundreds of family and friends, that it DOES have "medicinal value". So if they want to violate the logical rules of debate then they can kiss my fucking ass! Who the FUCK do they think they are to tell me what to put into my body or how to spend my money or what to think about any given topic? FUCK THAT!

let me summarize your reply...

i can't find any examples of fluoride poisoning due to drinking fluoridated water, so let me divert the topic into one we both agree on!

in any case, stoners are an easy political target. ron paul gets points from me for making that stand, just like kucinich and gary johnson. but that does not make him any less of a turtle fucker.

if we want to lick this cannabis thing, we have to do it state by state via voter initiatives. there will be no other way.

Arsenic is also safe and so is radiation and lead, if we are talking things that won't kill you in small enough doses and may have benefits in low doses or no noticible negitive effects.

LOL! Cannabis thing. Have you not read or watched the latest news about the government stating that they were wrong about fluoride levels? Changing the subject lol. Fishy, red fishy, if you ask me. UB the Fish Fucker. ;)

They got it wrong and admitted it. Just like every other time they fucked up, it took years to finally admit, with dentists nationwide agreeing, that too much of a good thing is bad. And they were doing bad by using the levels they were.

It's all about titration and the government fucked up the fluoride titration levels by their own admission. So once again, why trust them to tell me what to do or how to do it?

Yup, They have fucked up milk before by adding to much vitamin D and made people sick and killed people. I think I could deal with a fluoride deficiency.

Did you see the story on how FOX and the FDA both fucked up and then hid the monsanto milk hormone story? Motherfuckers!

got me. i almost went pro on the north american fish fucking circuit shortly before they changed it to the pan american fish fucking circuit.

it was tragic.

are you telling me the fluoride levels can use reduction now that topical applications of fluoride are more widely used? why, i would happen to agree with you. now that fluorides are more prevalent and better applied, i would say we are best off reducing our thresholds.

still better than no government monitoring of the water supply, i say. still better than having no idea of what a safe level is, and if it is being exceeded to the detriment of our health. this seems to be a good function of a central government.

They got it wrong and admitted it. Just like every other time they fucked up, it took years to finally admit, with dentists nationwide agreeing, that too much of a good thing is bad. And they were doing bad by using the levels they were.
sine we have already discussed how other applications of fluoride have mitigated the need for fluoridated water, let us move on to another subject.

i live in a town that does not do fluoride. the next town over does. the next doesn't, so on on and so forth.

i can safely conclude that fluoridated water is a LOCAL issue, as local as it gets. if you don't want fluoridated water, you can move to the next town over. just the same as if you do not like your state laws concerning cannabis or abortion, you can move to the next state over. just as ron paul would want!

what the turtle fucker would not want is some big, central government authority that monitors what is a safe level of this or that to have in the water supply. which is another place where i disagree.

you just argued my point, basically

Monitoring and contaminating are two different things. Why add something to clean water?
