Chemical = more potent?

Lots of air is needed. The longer you brew (24 +) the more Nitrogen. Just Google how to make compost tea and read a little so u can be ahead of the game'

Better yet is a pet store. There I found a nice 2 valve air pump (20-30 gal) for 20 $ and also 4" long round air stones that kick ass. All under 30$ The little air stones and smaller pumps just get clogged with nutrients after awhile and u have to clean them daily, ick.

I did however just acquire a bottle of Alaskan fish emulate, 5-1-1. Smells like rotted fish but if it gives the buds a nice taste I'll play along :)

Organics is not going to make a no taste strain taste good. You can't make any bud taste better naturally than it's genetic capabilities although you can make it taste worse with improper environment and nutrients. I've grown out the same genetics, several different strains, organically (roots organic) and chemically (Fox farm with the solubles trio with a proper flush) and honestly I can't tell the difference and I doubt anyone else could either..

I noticed when I fed my strawberries a lot of organic nutes, then flushed them out the last 2weeks and the strawberries I grew with chem nutes and didn't flush both tasted like strawberries.
so much bad info. Feed less, keep them green, flush toilets, not plants.

Organically grown plants has been shown under laboratory conditions to produce more 'essential oils' than those grown chemically. Yes its true you cannot take a plant beyond its genetic potential, but organics will get you closer than chems when it comes to flavor.....

i grow chemical in soiless mixes buds and over all plants grow fast heres a pic day 18 from flipping from 18/6 but i also add micronutrients you need it as well as other supliments i believe potent buds are just not feeding its a varity of things, Like lights ,air movement , and overal health of the plant i am starting to believe that flushing 2 weeks or even 3 weeks before harvest won't do nothing it takes a long time to completly rid nutrients out of a plant prob months so in reality normally last 2 weeks is when you really need to feed them girls as buds are starting to swell and get weight people that start flushing only lessen there over all yields and potency by not giving the plant what it needs at its critical time

What I shoot for is having a healthy, vigorous green plant heading into the home stretch, last couple of weeks. Then start backing off the nutes for the last few weeks. Then pay close attention for any major defiencies and see which minor ones show up. Then the next grow tweak and tune things according to what was learned the previous grow. Working with a single strain as a beginner for a few grows really helps to truely identify issues. Broaden your horizons on future grows once you have the basics of reading your plants down. Not basing your plants appearance on what a meter reads.

Found this on another post Now everyone has heard about this one. Most people actually buy into it and flush their plants. How and why did this myth start? I am not sure. What I do know is that it is unnecessary and in fact does more harm than good.

When you flush your plants for 2 weeks before harvest you are starving them. So they start to cannibalize, taking nutrients and minerals from it's leafs and diverting it all to the bud. So when you harvest you have this half dead looking plant, but it tastes better right? Wrong.

If you flush it or not, nutes from your soil and the rest of your plant are still going up into those buds when you flush it. Besides that nutes don't drain out of a plant that way, the plant has to use it and convert it to energy to get rid of it. So it's going to be in your nug anyway. All your doing is depriving yourself of more growth and more resin production.

Plants shouldn't be yellow when you harvest them. You don't start strawberry plants for 2 weeks before harvest to get the nute taste out of them do you? No, because it doesn't work that way.

Why are you smoking strawberries?
While I can't argue for or against flushing, I wonder why flushing would become standard practice if it's ineffective. Of course strawberries would likely taste the same, but you don't smoke strawberries, either.

See there, that's your problem. You used Roots Organics. LOL I have tried RO and the soil and they all suck, and nothing good. Like already posted, to get full potential in potency andflavor, organics will get you much closer.

When using Chem I was FF all the way and I would wait just until the buds started to swell then flush. And flush royal I mean push that salt build up out. 7-9 days later harvest

* Organic hydroponics: Is complete nonsense. The 'organic' buzzword is overused and largely misunderstood by the general public. 'Organic' doesn't mean 'good' or 'better.' It means that the material in question is sourced from a biological system. Organic nutrients are, in actual fact, mostly shit. Compost and manures themselves are not assimilable by plants; it's the breakdown components, N, P & K, which plants eat. There's no difference between the N, P & K obtained via organic matter breaking down and that obtained from "chemical" aka inorganic fertilisers. However, inorganic nutes allow you to precisely and CONSISTENTLY control the amount of N, P & K presented to the plants. With 'organic' nutes, you never really know what the precise amounts and ratios of N, P & K your plants will actually get. Moreover, inorganic nutes are not affected by the use of H2O2 in hydroponic nute solns. Inorganic based hydro systems are clean, tanks are clear and such systems are much easier to maintain, especially for the newbish. Now, before some holy organic evangelist upbraids me for not knowing what I'm talking about, know ye this: my veg patch out back is run on organic principles; my cannabis plant waste, lawn clips and kitchen veg cuttings are composted and incorporated into the garden soil after spending about a year breaking down in the compost bins. It works pretty well- outdoors, where I don't give a damn how many bugs & microbes are hanging about. In my indoor hydroponic grow-op, I want to have only ONE living organism: cannabis plants.

This is from Al B. Fuct. the thread is its a fucted world and it has alot of valuable info.

Organics means grown with no chemicals. U are not flooding your roots with mass amounts of high foreign NPK making them have no choice but to take up a tiny bit.
Organics also means you are giving the plant it's natural way of living. Plants have a wonderful relationship with mother earth. Not the chemical plant that sells this harsh nutrients.
Organics needs no monitoring of "how much" NPK is givin. No PHing needed. The soil is alive and can take care of everything naturally and organically.
The microbes are your plants best friends. They do so much for your plants, not just clean roots, but fight fungus, bugs, disease, etc.
Proper grown Organic gardens of all variety's mean healthier for you, taste better, and oh so good. Not to mention that 1 gram of ? compared to one gram of same strain the Organic gram will keep you higher and for longer.
