Im confused with this PRE-FLOWER JAZZ!??

Okay my plants are about 35 days old from seed. The have been in the system for 25 days. 4 of the plants in the system I know the sex of because they are fem seeds. Now the other 8 I have no idea. Now this is my 1st grow. The bagseed pland have AWESOME vigor and im hoping they are female. The reason I need to know the sex is because I want to spread them out because they are bullies already.:mrgreen: I was told to take clones and sex them that was but by the time the clones will take to show sex, which is around 2 weeks I think. The plants in the system would be too big. So I took some pics of the nodes on various plants. Please tell me what you all think. +Rep to all.

Typically the pre-flowers you are looking for will appear between the 8th and 10th node of the plant. This can take 1-2 months to appear. I don't really see any preflowers on there yet. You're just going to have to wait a bit longer. In my experience the males tend to show themselves first. Cloning to see sex is relatively ineffective in my opinion as most plants wont clone well until they have reached sexual maturity.

Cool! I am doing a vertical grow with the plants so they are pretty much good to grow as they please right? I was looking at Uncle Bens topping method but im not sure how it would help the people who use this method of growing. I had to fight my way in to take freaking pictures of the stem. You cant even see the main stem on some of the plants!

I will give them until 07/17/2011 to show. If not im going to have to flip them to flower. I have to harvest before last week of September.

Your AVATAR is beyond funny!!LOL. I hope they are female as well. They have taken off in my system. This site is a treasure to growers. + rep to you all.

I use uncle bens 4 top method. Works well. But you are too far in for that. For those who can not see the pre sex, well ?? Why not, it's showing as clear as can be. She a mature female. That and the pre sex shows up normally between the 6th and 7th node. Once the plant matures enough for flowering.

Oh the stains that are in the 10" net pots are Critical +, Blue Widow, NL x BB, and AK-48. The bagseed plants are looking at the breeder strains like "Move out of my way BITCH"! If I had the time I would love to clone them after they reach maturity.

Yes those where pistils. Look close at where they came out of and that is what the pre sex female looks like before pistils

I ended up having 3 males. You will have to wait about a week or so before you would know for sure. The males in my grow showed up first. Once you see a male you wont forget. Do you have a pic?
