spray them every three days with ice water untill harvest.. assuming you dont have any mold or pm issues.

spray them every three days with ice water until harvest
. Report back and please tell me if this works. I have mites too, I sprayed s.m. knock out last week and I think I got 'em but I don't know. It seems to only be obvious that there are spider mites immediately preceding 8th week, but who knows the rest could have them too.

I have the same situation, 3 days from harvest and mites are on the buds...someone suggested after harvest dip in water hang to dry with lots of fans.....will this Work or will the water ruin the trichomes?

I don't want to use Neem directly on the buds at this point....

can anyone help me.
thanks

You could try flooding the room with co2. Most insects cant survive if the co2 ppm is too high. leave the plant sealed in with co2 for several hours. Its a bad spot to be in.

i don't know if it'll work or not, but the water definitely does not hurt the trichs or any other part of the reefer
pretty sure that thc is not water soluble

also - this is first hand - i sprayed bud to dripping and more at very close range to remove spots of PM still present at harvest
it worked

you definitely should....no - wait - WHAT I DID :) was to go ahead and spray - then, with individual branches, i kind of carefully/forcefully whipped them downward - no jerky motions - to create some force to whip the water off

after a few apps, no mold no water no stink - just stank

you can use azanachtrin up to the day before you harvest, then was em off with tepid water, cut, trim, and hang..
i live in nm, and here the humidity is usually close to zero, and we have to worry about plants drying too quickly. we use humidifiers here just to prolong drying to 7 days, it takes 3 here without any.

no i was reading somewhere where jorge cervantes said it co2 wouldnt do shit. which makes sense. when I work out in my 11x11 grow room my breath raises it to 3000 ppm and im nowhere close to dying. =)

1500 ppm on co2 is the max for your weed. you won't really start feeling ill effects until you've been in about 30k ppm for a while. that's what I've read anyway.

co2 doesnt kill mites.. even when you pop whole tanks in small rooms. any neem product, (azawhatever) or any oil will leave a bad taste.. I also think that the no pest strips emits cancer causing chemicals that soak in the plants (dont know for sure). try mighty wash, or ice water and tangle foot.. dont use chemicals that far into flower

Also ........I thought about no pest strips but I've been told the vapor gets into the buds and is harmful?

People before you spout off shit you don't know do some research for yourself. Dichlorvos (the ingredient used in NPS) is used in greenhouses and food crops all the time. Now I'm not saying it's real good for you or anything, but after doing the research I am comfortable enough to use them. The man who has his own organic sub-forum on here uses em. To each his own.

And I quote..... "Dichlorvos is administered orally as an anthelmintic to swine, horses, cats, and dogs. It is applied by dermal application to cattle, goats, sheep, swine, and chickens to control fleas, flies, and mites. Cucumbers, radishes, lettuce, and tomatoes are treated with dichlorvos in greenhouses." -Source #1

"Dichlorvos does not appear to accumulate in plants, fish, or animals."- Source #2
