My First CFL Grow!!! Goin well so far but need some advice!!

Yo whats up guys and gurls heres a quick update!

I picked up 16 24w 2700k bulbs and 16 battenholders today. I plan to mount them to some wood i also bought. Im taking everything round to my mates tommorrow whos going to give me a hand assembling it all.

I plan to have 10 lights beaming down on the kids, and then 2 side lights for each plant. I might need to upgrade my ventilation to deal with the extra heat but we'll just wait and see.

I also bought the panda film which has a white inside and black outside. Its designed to stop light leaking out and at the same time reflect the light. Ill pin this up in the box tommorrow as well.

I also got some budzilla flower nutes, ill water the plants tommorrow with it so hopefully it'll help develop some krons big ass buds, the guy at SOG said it would.

Ill upload some pics tommorrow after everythings set up, its the last stage in setting up the box.

Not long now till i can sit back and watch the grass grow :cool::cool:!! haha

Heres the goods lads n ladets!

I finished the light board today, it has a total of 10 24w 2700k lights. its bright as fuck! haha.
I planned to put 3 sets of 2 lights on the side of each plant, duno whether or not its needed? but maybe theres no harm in adding more lights, what do you's think?

I finally got round to lining the box with white reflective panda film. The box seems so much brighter in all spots of the box guess its pretty reflective and it also helps block light from getting out and in.

The kids got there first nutes of any kind today aswell. I never bothered to give them vege nutes they never really seemed to need them, perhaps ill try them next time round tho. I decided feed them 'budzilla', i'm not to sure if any of international visitors to this thread will know of it, its a New Zealand made product designed to give optimun results - what the guy at switched on told me haha.

There a bit high, hovering around the 85f, im thinking ill have to get another two fans - one to suck in some fresh air and the other to suck out more of the hot air. I think it will be a must if i plan to add another 6 bulbs, 2 for each plant.

just a quick update, plants grew atleast an inch last night. After there sleep the lights came on and there leaves were touching the lights, so ive moved the lights up one chain link.

Does anyone know what the ideal temps for marijuana is? my temps are around 85 with the lights on and 55 with the lights off cause its winter where i live atm.

Also i thought i would make a detailed post about the bugs iv battled with (mites and nats) and how im winning the war so far.. haha, ill try do this later tonight, keep an eye out!

Disaster! For some reason the lights didnt switch off, the timer fucked out so the lights were on an extra 7 hours.. i opened the cupboard doors and the leaves were saggin and some were curled upwards, hopefully this is just because they had to much light and not cause there dying?

Ya they propt back up just needed some water, i guess the lights being on for to long and the high temps dryed them out a bit. Haha we both hoping that if there cold at night it doesn't matter to much.

Hey guys n gurls

Its been awhile since an update i've been busy lately. The two rhinos are looking minto but my bagseed isn't looking to healthy. It's new growth seems to be curling downwards, im not to sure why this could be as the other two are looking great. ill try get some pics up asap.

Other than that there looking great all seem to be flowering properly and the nugs are just beginning to form.

Ive also made an attempt to do some LST'n. I hadn't planned to try it out till my next grow but im running out of room in the box, the bagseed is to tall haha. I've only got about 5 inches left to move the light up so its going to be tight by the time harvest comes round.

Ill try get some pics up 2moz!
