It can get overwhelming. i'd smoke before i drop, then smoke about an hour or two in if i was worried, but its rare...

its that panic attack feeling that new smokers get. only you dont have to be a new smoker if your tripping, only happend to me once, on a low dose of shrooms, on 420, combo of tooo much pot, not enough shrooms. went away after 30 minutes

thats about it, most people get more freaked out from what people tell them is going to happen then they do with what actually happens to them.

The less you expect comming in the less there is to go wrong.

Darth seems to have it right for me and my experiences as well. Not that I like herb that much, not like you guys but I would never ever smoke anything before a trip. During, it affects me for about 5 minutes and then it just sucumbs to the tsunami of emotions and visions. Afterwards it seems to bring out the colors and cradle you for the return flight. I kmow of many who will absolutely not smoke before a trip as well. Some are into the purity of the come on (I'm one) and others fear it might set them off in the wrong direction.

oh man, i remember last summer, my fist acid trip. I t was something like 2 hours in, i was feeling something, and it was starting ! i sneak into this kinder garden, and smoked my days first joint ! it was dark already outside, clear night sky! the time i was finished with the J, i was in full intense, INTENSE trip mode ! wow, that was the beginning of my trip after smoking that joint !

I always smoke lol, but i know some cant. and i've experienced why.. for the most part though i smoke like a chimney. I smoke alot more weed now that i dont smoke cigs any more.
