Well it's been awhile since I started a grow journal but I figured I couldn't keep this grow too myself, So I present to you :leaf:Shonuff's Barney's Farm Tangerine Dream Grow:leaf: TADAA!!! For those of you that don't know Tangerine Dream was the 1st place Cannabis Cup winner of 2010:lol:. I just got the seeds in the dirt today so I won't have any pics until they pop.

These babies will be growing in my custom modified cabinet under two 150watt hps lights and two 15watt led grow panels for side lighting. I will be using one gallon buckets filled with Fox Farm ocean forest soil and using fox farm nutes.

I will be growing them under 12/12 lighting from seed to finish. This way I will be able to cut a month off of the grow time and get some finish product faster:lol:. Also I have experimented with growing both ways and found that yield didn't' vary much (at least as far as my setup is concerned). Well thats it for know will be posting some pictures soon.:peace:

I'll be following, i'm still waiting on mines, so i'll harvest after you. Can't wait to see how she vegs, I'm very intrigued by that, as well as if most phenos flower in 70days or so like they say.

hey man i just got 5 tangerines the other day and have 2 of them going right now in rockwool. started 3 of them but one came up defected and i took out of the garden already. i germinated them on the 22 and they came up on the 24 of this month. iv started them on GH flora nova gro. half strength for what seedlings get. im putting them on the drip system in a day or 2 with a solution of 1 teaspoon to a gallon. i noticed that its been a wile since u posted so maybe we can get some of those pics u were talking about? ill keep posted on this with how myn are going if thats ok with u? i can get u some pics as well. happy growing!:leaf:

I got some going. Gonna try them out Scrog style in hempy buckets.

I messed up at the start qhen they sprouted. I had them in rockwool plugs too far in my lil hempy pots and overwatered.
1 is recovering nicely. Its already on its fourth leaf set. I had to cut off the first true leaf set to stop the yellowing from spreading to the reat of the plant.

They do really smell fantastic! Even at a young stage the smell of the leaves have a very tangerine citrisy aroma. Really gets your senses going.

Ill try to start my journal. Tangerine dream hempy bucket Scrog.

Hey buddy.. i had 4 tangerine dreams come through the soil on 2/11... so this is the third day :D

I can't wait for some fan leafs and some vigorous growth!

Yours are 11 days ahead of my one TD be cool to see other pics from other grows at this stage mine are only 15 days into 12/12 I think pretty close to that anyway,Hope to see some pics soon.

Subbing up as I am eyeing this strain. Heard form a guy today that thought that the strain wasn't very stable at this point...i.e. several different phenos

I do have to agree on the unstable genetics very unpredictable, almost all the TD I have seen pics of look different only common trait is the sativa leaves. Mine has the distinct smell of celestial seasonings mandarin black spice tea. it is so close I almost cant tell the difference, and the color is wild all new growth is white then shades into a nice medium green the stems are from light yellowish orange to light green with a burnt orange to almost red/purple stripe up the center right to the leaf base, lovin the colors and hope it tastes as good as it smells. Anyone know what happened to this guy? I'm thinking of doing TD 12/12 from seed but I'm worried about how tall they'll get being its sativa dominate... Anyone?

I flowered after 35 days veg

I'm finding one pheno type is really compact, and bushy, with tight node spacing... one is really sativa and really stretchy, and one looks indica but the nodes are spaced like the sativa!

feel free to come to my journal and ask whatever kinds of questions you want...

I have about 3 different phenos from the 6 whiched germinated out of 10. They are now into week 7 and none of them smell up to much. They certainly dont smell of oranges or any other fruit...more like hay. They are all about 1 metre and have good sized heads but not a lot of trikes. This is about the 12 th variety I have grown and this has been quite disappointing... Shall probably go back to Sagarmathas Purple Pine Cone....one of the best smell and taste grown to date.

Ya I am in week 8 with the TD, its not what I was expecting I'll post some pics tomorrow when I get a chance. Have two diff phenos it looks like, super sativa, they grow super quick too thats for sure, they looove to stretch. Am looking forward to seeing what yours looks like.

I finished one of my plants, and another is still going. Were curing now... check the journal up top
