Does Anyone Here Grow Under The 24" T5`s ?

Im thinking about getting this 24" t5 setup off ebay

it would fit perfectly in my micro cab

but before i do i would like to know if anyone here grows or have grown with them ( successfully )

i have grown successfully with those but for flowering i bought the T5's that illuminate more of a yellow color

Yup. I use 4 of the 24 inch single bulb fixtures, they come with adapters to daisy chain them together. That setup you found there is a nice one, especially for 85 bucks, most 4 bulb fixtures cost closer to 110-150.

T5's are great for vegging, but use an hps to flower if you can afford one.

and i have an hps but its in a bigger cab

im just looking to do small little grows that are no bigger then about 18" when finished with these 24" t5`s

Right, but the hps will give you much better of a product in terms of trich produciton, size, and density. which is why I say use one for flower if he has room for it, then again he did say "micro cab" so I assume space is pretty limited lol

OP yeah, if you just want to do some smaller grows by all means go for it the t5's are great. either way growing is fun

Iv done plenty of grows , just never with those t5s

i got a dresser cab that i use for growing bigger plants but i want to do some micro grows also thats why i was asking about the t5s

im probably going to use cfls to veg then use the t5s to flower ,

it wont be a problem switching them out , im gonna go ahead and order that t5 setup in the mourning but i will order it with the flower tubes instead of the veggin tubes
