Then rub some of that stuff on a select few buds. Very easy and saves you a ton of $!
P.S. You only need one male to do this. So as others arise, which i'm guessing you'll get a couple more, I would chop them down and dispose of em.

Thats a great idea. and here i was upset that i accidentally ordered my blue himalayan as regular seeds lol. im in luck. Thanks for the great advice.
 
Yep, not a problem! Males will almost always show sex before the female plants. And if you're not sure yet then that means you're not in any danger of the pollen sacs opening up, and you can keep him in there to get some good light. But when you see noticeable balls hanging from the stem, take him outta the room completely. A windowsill will be sufficient light for him to grow and open up the sacs. And I think they say auto's need about 30 days for the females to get a mature seed, so i would say rub it on the hairs of the girl you want to get pregnant around day 30 or so, and that should be plenty of time. Some ppl use a cue tip while i've heard others get better success with a small soft tip paint brush.
Of course all of your seeds will be regular instead of feminized, but you'll have sooo much you'll be set forever, or pass a few off to some friends!

My ratio has been about 3females to every 2 males.

BTW... pic of a finished bud on my blue him. Seems to turn a nice purplish bluish tint on the top of a nice lime green.

that truly is a thing of beauty. What type of dried yield did you get per plant? what type of lighting are ya rockin?
 
Well one thing that I can say about the blue himalaya is that its pretty finicky. Seemed to catch cal- mag deficiency very early and it took me forever to really get a hold on it. Actually i cant say that i did completely get it. By the end, the leaves were looking horrible. lol And i only grew her in a 3 liter soday bottle. But dry weight was still around 25 grams after her life long battle with defeciencies. So no real complaints there. But my guess is if you're using 3 gallon pot or so, you should be in for atleast an oz. And im straight to 400hps on 18/6 for the entirety of the grow.
What type of soil you using? And what type of water?

How long since they started flowering?
 
o and jayjonson my soil is pro-mix hp with no nutes at all in it. as far as water goes i used ph'd tap water that has sat for a day to evaporate the chlorine.

Nice Deltsy, thats definitely the way to go. You should be better off than me. I was using distilled until half way through that grow and I know thats a huge reason as to why i was having to use such high doses of cal-mag. She was still hurting at 2 times recommended dosage.:wall:

All I can do now is keep up what I have going on and hope for the best. Can't wait to find out dried weight and most importantly the smoke itself.
 
That's exactly what I want to know.
What day did you germ your beans?

I hear G'O'Matic is the fastest auto on the market, which could be false, but still interesting.
I would of course only care about it if it was decent smoke, and yielded more than a gram haha.
Nobody wants autos that pump out a dub..
