2011 Outdoor Tree of Life Throwdown

Not sure I will make it in this contest but we will see. I plan to get into the smart pot with in a day or two : )

This was the first week of June, no plants grown from 'last year', all plants started in Jan-Feb

Damn you! That's totally going to beat me! Although mine are headed towards 6' already!
 
Having a problem now. Wind storms came through and broke off several bottom branches from some of my bigger plants. That's not the problem. Problem is now the remaining branches are shooting up really fast and plants are starting to get out of control tall. One is now 6'6" and the others are only a few inches behind behind them. The problem being that they've only got 15' clearance before they hit the roof and it's unlikely they'll even start flowering any time soon. I'm doing pure organic shit so I don't want to hit them with phosphoload or gravity and may not have the room to bend branches. Should be interesting!

I'm excited to see if I get a plant or to to survive this season. Due to being busy working I haven't been to see my 4 plants in over two weeks.... But it's been nice hot weather with intermitant rain every few days so I'm hoping there still alive. I will post some pictures in a few days.

I also was wondering which of these 5 freebies that I just started would be the best for outdoor, I plan on putting probably two of them out.

Exodus Cheese ( psyched for this one)
Grapefruit Krush

They just popped above ground and I'm going to give them probably three weeks before throwing them outside, I'm also concerned on them finishing outdoors as I'm in Canada and winters can come as early as October.

wow Dan that is one hell of a grow! you are going to have some monsters!! keep up the good work! ive definitely got some competition! lol!

I just hope they don't get some monstrous that they outgrow their space. Right now too big is more of a concern for me than not big enough.

I've done outdoor for a long time, but this is my first time doing legit organics. I figured since other than reading a few books on the subject of organic soil/food webs over the winter I didn't know what the hell I was doing, the attempt would only be moderately successful. But I've got to say, this organics shit seems to work really fucking well. So far, I'm sold.

Been checking out your videos. You're not doing too bad yourself. Those humboldt kushes are beasts!

I hear ya on the organics! i thought it was going to be difficult to keep my garden 100% organic but once i did more research and trial and error i figured out that its really not hard at all, its actually rather simple and the proof is in the pudding! all you gotta do is start from the dirt up and keep em green and everthing else will fall into play!

as for my humboldt kush's, i know im worried about the TOO big aspect myself with those! never grown the strain but ive heard some good stuff about it from some local friends of mine also some friends from mendo that have grown it and they get monsters out of em, so im hoping to be somewhere in the middle! ill be happy with a big plant but if they get to be like 10lbers idk what im going to do with myself!!! lol

damn weezer,,Looks like a few acres to spread out on (Texas from the looks) ... how are you watering that soon to be beast?
 
Texas?!! naah Norcal in the foothills, right on the edge of the valley. My old landlords place, he has 11 acres there.
 
I think the cowboy hat through him Wheezy. But, I think the hat looks more 'Okie' to me! LOL!
