80-85 is definately too high. silca and co2 will help your plants take the higher temps but you should really get them down.

85 is getting abit on the high side but i wouldnt worry about it just yet, just make sure to keep an eye on them, have a fan blowing across the tops and you should be good

try bringing some cold air in from outside and buy a cooltube for your light,
i have a cool tube with an inline fan leading through the ducting to the outside... but i didnt think of takn some cool air from the outside.. ill do that right now and see what happens.. im thinkn that if outside temperatures go above 90 i should take the outside duct for bringing in air off for that day? and left the tent last night. came back this morning and temps are 90.... no good...

i opened the tent a lil bit and put a bowl of ice in front of the fan.. it dropped 8-9 degrees. going to work on the ducting in a lil bit.

the only other thing i can think of is either have the light sealed, as in, have the cold air comeing in go into one end of cooltube then have the ducting comeing out the other side then straight out the room, or what size is the fan(cfm) you have sucking through the cooltube at the minute?

p.s if your temps are 80-85 with the lights on i wouldnt worry about it, just keep an eye on them. good luck

the cfm of the inline fan in the cooltube is 250. but yea ill try that and see what it does.

so i put inline fans on both sides of the cool tube, air flow going the same way. with a free flow intake coming in and heat problem is fukn solved.

heat problem is back.. i think its cause its an old house and then insulation is horrible. its goin up to 95 - 100. i cant think of any way to lower it.. hella stressed. cuz im worried bout my babies. im thnkn about goin and getting one of the miniature a/c units used for houses.. any ideas!?!?!?

check craigslist for an a/c for wherever the air source is and get a stronger exhaust fan. i grew in a 4x4x7 tent with a 600w light and had a 425cfm exhaust fan. the fan was strong enough i could control the temps with that along with an a/c window unit in the room where the air was drawing from and there was also a base board heater for cool nights.
