OK ..just confused who you going to vote for when your man you contributed money to doesn't make it to the general election because people didn't want to vote in the primary..???
I am not prepared to make that decision until the ticket has been formalized.

First of all, it is not a foregone conclusion I will vote Republican in the general. I did not vote for McCain/Palin in 2008.

Secondly, Cain is not the only candidate I plan to contribute to this election cycle. He's just the first; so far. I'm sure I will send him another contribution(s), but if another candidate appeals to me I will not hesitate to send him/her a contribution as well.

But I will not identify myself as a Republican or a Democrat by participating in either of their Primary elections.

I don't care if you vote in the Primary or not. It's your decision.

Why can't you extend the same courtesy to me?

Well you have to admit you started this by telling me why I should not cross party lines and vote in the repuke primary, so I just thought it fair to extend the same courtesy to you by explaining why you should vote if you contributing money.

I never told you any such thing.

There is that attention-paying thing again.

I simply said you might want to think twice about voting in a primary of a party which is not yours; and I gave you ample reasons why you might want to think twice about it.

I passed no judgment either way. Even going as far as saying I do not care what you do.

I guess I read this wrong
You may want to think twice about that.

Seriously.

I know vote-rigging like this goes on all the time with the goal of upending the opposition.

But, if you identify with a party during its primary, you ARE that party.

Which is why I do not vote in the primary of any party.

I'm just saying.

You know what would be a really good idea? Require each member of congress and the senate to read every word of every bill they vote on BEFORE the vote.

And another thought: If they haven't read the bill, who in hell wrote it?
if this kind of visionary leadership existed at the time of our founding fathers, the constitution would not have been passed.

also, herman cain couldn't get his fair tax passed, being 100+ pages and all.

Hey Uncle Buck, I'll bet that each framer that signed onto the Constitution read every word, and understood every word as well. A far cry from the Weiners representing us now, eh? :)

did you read the article? there is less new content in the patient protection and affordable care act than there is in harry potter.

a kid's book.

we had better make the solution to make every bill comically short.

Isn't this the man who was a state chairmen of the federal reserve? the private company that enslaves the american people under the lions share of a 14.3 trillion dollar government debt secured by direct taxation of the american people? I'd vote for a convicted bank robber before i voted for a Fed chairmen, a bank robber has never stolen a countries future before.

meanwhile, your messiah is losing handily to two people who are not even running and tied with tim pawlenty.

HA!

Among Republican primary voters, 23 percent would like to see Romney as the nominee. He is followed by New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani at13 percent and former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin at 12 percent. Businessman Herman Cain and former House Speaker Newt Gingrich both receive the backing of 7 percent. Texas Congressman Ron Paul and former Minn. Gov. Tim Pawlenty both come in at 5 percent. All others receive less than five percent support.

another interesting little tidbit from that poll: if the election were held tomorrow, 80% of tea partiers would vote for romney. so why all this bitching from dipshits like joe miller? is he against the wishes of 80% of his own party? only 74% of tea partiers would do the same for palin, the self-proclaimed queen of the tea partiers.

LOL
