Clonning in DWC (damaged roots)

I can see that my clone has some root tips damaged, is there anything I should do to fix this ?

Also how long can I keep this clone in the dwc until I trasplant it to soil ? I would like to keep it there as long as I can.

I wouldn't worry about it. Clone looks fine.

You don't ever have to take it out.. you can grow it in there if you want. If you're just using straight tap water in your cloner, then you'll want to start adding some nutes slowly as it gets bigger. You can tell the clone is too big to get it's nutrients from straight tap water after it starts to yellow slightly. The only reason you'd have to take it out of DWC and put it in soil is if it gets too big for your DWC container, in which case, I'd make a bigger one... and ditch the soil all together, you'll never look back.

those look like 10 day cuts, looking healthy, couple spots no big thing. if thats the worst you have through a grow ill eat my hat lol. really tho dude they look fine, dont sweat every little thing that happens, you will get ulsers. save it for the real problems. i start a low nute reg at about 15-20 days n never let them get dirty lol. thats not true ive thrown them into soil before, up to a month old. i also reverted one back to dwc from being in soil for a few weeks due to a shop vac accident with a plant. either way they just took off with no problem

For me, DWC has been a nightmare so far with root problems. Good catch, now that you know the spots are there. Do they heal or does it get worse?
You can go all the way through flower in DWC, but as a cloner, I have heard of people going up to a month.

Thanks tenthirty up to a month sounds good, I've just checked the roots and they seem the same as yesterday, maybe a tiny bit bigger, I'll keep checking then to see if they get worse... +rep
