Another Federal Crime by the (I) bush regime

Dude ... When the price of iceberg lettuce increases, the consumer starts buying Romaine lettuce instead. As iceberg lettuce falls out of favor, the price falls. Its basic, I know ... but price is based upon supply and demand. Its a universal law that cuts across all products other than those that enjoy a monopoly.

Now then, I wouldn't know about "cock rings." I'll leave that subject up to you and Med ... who most likely need such devises to keep it up.

Back when I was still learning the fundamentals of economics, something these two, Mao and company, obviously never had the opportunity to partake in, a teacher explained supply and demand using tacos and hamburgers as the example. I got my AS in Economics because of this example, and the relevance of economics in respect to everything we as humans do which employs choice. "the science which studies human behaviour as a relationship between ends and scarce means which have alternative uses." Somebody should have explained this to Congress before we started using food for fuel.

Bushed! Nexus of Terror, No-Bids & Soldier Deployments

WMP
Chairman of the Joint Chiefs Chair Admiral Mike Mullen who said he wanted to give combat troops 1-2 years rest time in between deployments, but didn’t see that happening in the next year or two. Next up was the eight figure no-bid contract awarded to former Attorney General John Ashcroft by scandal-ridden US Attorney Christopher Christie to monitor a settlement for the DoJ. And finally, one of the many Nexus of Politics & Terror scandals, this one involved Director of National Intelligence Mike McConnell and Attorney General Michael Mukasey, who blatantly lied by saying they had lost intelligenceo announce later that day that all of those companies had, in fact, fallen into line and were all continuing to participate in the government’s surveillance programs. because the telecom companies stopped cooperating with the government for fear of lawsuits — only to announce later that day that all of those companies had, in fact, fallen into line and were all continuing to participate in the government’s surveillance programs.

For the record ... can't deny the fact bushies ... can't deny ...

Any of you guys see that illegitimate bastard on TV yesterday? What a pack of lies ... and he kept proving to the world just how much an idiot he is ...

Olberman broke it down ... check it ...

The World According to W

WMP

Welcome to BushWorld, an Orwellian nightmare of epic proportions. As has been so astutely pointed out, facts have a liberal bias, so the press conference that Bush held yesterday was completely devoid of any liberal bias. As Keith Olbermann says:
1984 had new-speak. We have Bush-speak. Rhetoric designed to obfuscate reality and to quell dissent. [..] The country was treated to a full 45 minute dosage of it this morning. The President holding a news conference to once again reiterate his own version of events: the surge in Iraq is working, the Iraqi government is making progress, America is not heading towards a recession, and of course, Democrats are trying to kill us all by not giving telecom companies immunity.
Watch how truly bizarre the press conference was to anyone who has two braincells to rub together. Note too that while Bill Plante and David Gregory asked the kind of questions we should see from a press corps, few–if any–media outlets took the time that Olbermann did to show how contradictory and without substance the President’s words were.

Bush League Justice: More on Siegelman

WMP

Luckily for us, Dan Abrams isn’t letting go of the Don Siegelman story. On Wednesday’s show, he brought on Harper’s contributer Scott Horton, who has been covering this story from the beginning. They discuss the “mysterious” blacking out of the 60 Minutes piece at WHNT and the various connections that the station owners have with the Republican party and the Bush administration.
Abrams speaks to whistleblower Dana Jill Simpson, of whom the Alabama Republican party (and chief strategist Karl Rove) disavow knowledge.

WMP

Finally, Abrams speaks to Don Siegelman’s daughter, Dana, who speaks out on her father’s feelings about this new publicity in his case and gives some indication of why the Republican party was interested in getting Siegelman out of the way.

i get it. and i agree.

cut them all and replace with local state programs instead of federal.

down with big government and replace with local compassionate programs.

oh..you dont think the local governments can do what the federal is doing? the money for either is coming from the same place...us.
There are state run governments that have been known to be just as corrupt as the federal government. This is a human issue the key is to make it difficult for governement positions of any kind to generate large sums of money by simply holding the position itself.

This means average wages in conjunction with making lobbyists illegal. A strict system where the politicians are monitored as much if not more then they have been known to monitor us. A complete reversal...

A no nonsense system that states upfront in detail if you want the position then know youre going to be monitored full time in order to prevent illegal activity. I'm talking cameras, microphones...psychological tests conducted every month LOL...not kidding the works. a strict system

This will weed out the self absorbed greedy weasels and usher in those who legitmately want to make a positive difference in government. It should be run like a succesful corporation owned by the money holders...the people

No more bullshit they work for us! we pay their check. They will be kept in line if they dont like it get out.

I believe this is the only way we could possibly have a less corrupt government.

Right on! This would be an excellent topic to start off a new thread with.

Here we have our government doing the bidding of the corn lobby to produce a "fuel" that costs twice as much to produce as the benefit it gives and the end result will be food shortages and famines throughout the world. Go figure!

Hey ZenMaster give it up. You do NOT have a chance. You are arguing with a sloth, who cannot write a sentence. Before you can have an intellectual show-down, find an armed opponent. And furthermore, the sloth ain't playin with a full deck. She is a sicko. Show some kindness and leave her alone. Let her rant in peace. I personally hope she wakes up and seeks treatment for her psychotic paranoia.
