I know, I have been having to water them at least once a day... and they are just seedlings. With the lights that close to the soil... it dries out real quick.

Try to get used to the weight of your pot also when it's dry and when it's fully water. Right now not much can be done since they are in very small cups but once you upgrade the pot size the good ol' finger in the soil stops working and you have to read your plants more and determine if they need water by their weight and of course a watering schedule. I highly recommend taking notes on how much water your giving them and it will eliminate a lot of your guess work. I wish I would take better notes. I usually just pick my 5 gal pots up and see how heavy they are. When they start getting light I know it's time for some good H2O.

Overwatering is such a pain in the ass and it sucks to see your plant droopy just because there's too much water and you assume it needs more water to counter the droopiness. Or worse, you assume it needs nutes and end up ruining it.

+rep (when it will let me) Thanks for the compliment !!! It has been a work in progress, but i think i finaly got her where i want her...... except for ventalation.... im constantly fighting 90 temps it stays around 86-91 It hist 91 atleast once a day... if not a feew.

I haven't been on here in a few days.... been sick as hell

here is the update.... been about a week and a few days.

SO i noticed the cotyledon on all of them are turning yellow..... and a few of the first node leaves... should i introduce some nitrogen ferts?

Anyone have any input on when i should start to introduce nutes? they are almost 2 weeks old now and the cotyledon are turning real yellow, and some of the first node leaves are getting real light yellow spots.

So I flushed and then gave em all nutes (I don't have any veg nutes, so I used my bloom ferts.. ehh .. what the hell) ... it took me forever to flush those little cups. I put em back in the cab about an hour before th lights went out... I peek ed in on them this morning right after the lights cut on.... and HOLY SHIT !!!! Over night explosion of growth ... some of the little bastards have grown like an freekin inch maybe and inch and a half !

I will take pics this weekend, I have successfully completed 2 weeks of veg under 400Watts of 2700K .. I don't have any blue spectrum CFL's so I just make due with what i got.. but I tell ya what.... my plants seem more vigorous with 2 weeks of veg instead of my 12 /12 from seed grows (my past 2 grows) ... and well... I didn't have 400 watts at the time either.. sooo .... I had like 260 watts.

So It's Friday.... Beautiful out side... very sunny ! Hope everyone has a good weekend.

plants looking nice dude!! as for the time of first nutes, it sort of depends on the type of soil you're using. i've always used fox farms, which has plenty of nutes inside it. anyway, during veg, your plants are gonna need a lot of N (in the NPK), whereas bloom nutes tend to be higher in P...

so my only advice would be to wait a few days or a week, see how they react to the bloom nutes, flush again if you need to... and then, give them some N. if you don't have or can't get good veg nutes, you can fish emulsions (whatever that is, lol). that's supposed to be high in N. good luck bro!

what was that mg? i use mg in veg,worx good&its the blue crystals also.how bad are the roots wrapped around bottom of cups?does look good tho.

thanks guys .... one or two of my plants have got these grey spots since i flushed and nuuted ..... like i said before.. i used bloom nutes because i didn't have anything else.... i took some more pics.... what do you guys think if i were to flip the switch tonight for 12 / 12 ? I'm gonne be in town this week , but next week I will be gone all week ... and my sis is going to be taking care of my garden.... I'm afraid ... very afraid....

so I would lke to flip the switch .... and weed out the males before im gone all week and they have a chance to pollinate my fems.

So........ things are looking ok..... my temps stay high .. but the plants have adapted i guess... I have raised my lights about 3 times now and they are preforming wonderfully... I'm so afraid im gonna screw this cup grow up... I can't afford to really buy my smoke any more... prices for everything are going up every day in my area..... and that includes grass........ so .. looks like im solely dependent on my grow box... about 3 months at a time.... man thats such a long time to wait... ahhhhhh... lol.

whats up buddy?!!! they look better to me.the mg u showed in other pic is a bloom nute?it looks like my veg food!i dont see the gray spots.i know u just flushed,but when my cheese seedlings did that i flushed the shit outa them and they turned around.i use mg plant food in veg.box is like 5.99. im using same box as last grow.now twenty somethin plants im a havta buy more.hey,sorry it took me so long to get over here.u can put a pic up in my thread any time bro,really.espeacily if u need help!!!

I hope they pull threw.... I flipped the switch tonight..... Hopefully I will be able to week out the males from the fems by the time i leave for Vay Cay.

got 5 Males...... and 3 fems, and one ? .... waiting on that last one to turn .

so here are my pics.. I don't have alot of time to arange and type .. so here they are.
The ones in the bathroom are the males..... they fucking exploded .. and that one on the end had some type of super bag seed gene or something ... I was shocked by how much they grew in a week. Teh 3 fems / 1 un known were put back in the box after a good soaking and 1/4 - 1/8 nute feeding..... I realized they needed to be lsted.... so i bent them down... hopefully they will produce a good amount of bud. My sister kep moving my lights to much (hence the massive stretch on some of the plants)

Thanks man !!! Yea, I struggled with my first grow.... this is like my third... I'm not sure if all 3 are documented tho... It gets easier with time and XP .... I see you run CFL... I'm headed over to your journal to check it out.

Just a look back at far my Grow box has come along.






























Those lights make all the difference !!!! They were a bit on the expensive side... but i had the money at the time , thank god for tax money...lol.... I think it was a good investment



It's late.... im stoned... i need to get some sleep for work ..... blah.....
