There's no way to tell from that picture. You gotta get a microscope.

Regardless, from the looks of the bud, it has a ways to go anyways. Probably 3-4 more weeks at least.

It's very easy to see that most of them are clear. It's much too early yet. See how the trichomes are shiny "glittering" like diamonds? - it's the clear trichomes. Once they are mature this glittering will stop.

it doesnt have too long ... id guess somewhere between 1 and 2 weeks ... If you can tget a better look at the trichs ... most seem to agree that the sweetspot is somewhere between 50 to 70 percent of the hairs on your cola have turned dark .... good luck - looks like it should be good when it's finnished ....................................

I'd say at least one - two weeks, but if it has a lot of sativa it could easily be more. Just look for that "shiny" look to disapear - then they're ready

The advantage I have is I'm not looking at just the triches. I'm looking at all those pistils that haven't retracted and I know the triches are probably clear in your pic. The plant is weeks from harvest, but you already know that.

I disagree. Pistils are not an accurate indicator of ripeness. It's easy to see that these trichomes are clear, as Brimi said, they're all shiny, but the only accurate way to tell if a plant is ready for harvest is with magnification.
