I wish I had the choice to use something other than PVC in my builds but I didn't have much choice as when it boils down to it it almost always ends up at the all mighty dollar. Not to mention the ease of access to the material and the wide variety of fittings. Water in my system stays there for just over a week usually which makes me wonder how long it takes for the pathogens to 'leach' into the water to contaminate it. As pointed out earlier I would be much more concerned with cancer you get from burning the material and the chemicals that we know the plant is uptaking daily.

The big one for me is ppl complaining that we will get cancer from PVC so rid it from our small home gardens and force us to use more expensive materials when we get into our vechiles and pour TONS of toxins into the air that we are intaking CONTIUNALY. What's a few feet of PVC in a home garden when used correctly?
