Can"t Get Emerald Triangle to Respond

i have sent these guys a few e-mails over the last two weeks asking some questions about where there genes came from.
They have a lot of genetics that i would like to know the lineage of, do they know anything about the strains they have collected (over two decades) or is it just " yeah this is OG kush or this is Grapefruit."

Might wanna try looking at the strain section before you get upset about them not responding. I spent 20 seconds on the site and I found all the genetics info you're gonna get on most of these strains. Pretty much what you're looking for, too.

yeah, except not what im looking for. thanks for the sarcastic remark that didn't help.

for example lets take - super sour og- parents are( Blueberry x Sour Diesel x OG Kush) x Lost Coast OG
if stable, this plant is ...?
12.5% blueberry / 12.5% sour diesel / 25% OG kush / 12.5% Pakistani kush / 12.5% Lemon Thai / 25% chemdog #4
i would like to know where the blueberry and sour diesel came from and what were the males in the crosses.
there's a lot of genes in there to not have much information.
this is just one example, there are alot of things i would like to know. Maybe not to you- but to me, these things are important.
and i feel any legit company should be able to explain the origins of where they got there strains from.(at least some of them)

Like I said, that site likely has ALL that you're going to be able to learn about their genetics. This isn't like dealing with purebred dogs and cats where you get a pretty sheet with the family tree on it. This is pot, dude, forget the pedigree and just worry about finding something that works for you. All people need to worry about is the high type and potency. Everything else is just marketing.

As for the "sarcasm", I can't help how you want to take it. This is emotionless text, dude. All the smileys in the world don't make a bit of difference.

i just don't see this to be true. if all i cared about was high and potency i would just grow out different bag seed or hermie seeds.
the genetic line is important to me . i have been breeding mjfor 4 years and if i want to buy Grapefruit X bubba kush then i want to know a lil something about their parents.
regardless if they have the info or not. they should make an attempt to give their customers some feedback. or at least a response.

What all have you bred hyphae? I agree they should have been back in touch the next business day. Perhaps they don't know their strains as it's usually somebody besides the breeder doing the selling. I'd try somewhere else personally. I don't understand your comment about high and potency though. Potency is clearly one of the more important genetic traits passed down from the mother. I care about genetics BECAUSE I care about high and potency.

if you click on it, it will take you to the strain finder site and show you something on each one.

all of that is what is in DJ shorts blueberry which is what the site says is used in the super sour og

but all in all this super sour og looks like some good genetics.

*so from what im getting at is your a breeder, and you want a seed bank to give you their seed recipe in detail because you want to make sure the genetics is correct (lineage)
**which makes no sense (to me) since we arent DNA sequencing or genetically cataloging cannabis plants, (just yet that is) --hence there would be no way to tell if any of the info given is even true or factual....?

***whew this sativa got me,, blah blah blah, lol ;P

I think their main forum is weedworld. Or something like that. I sent them a couple texts and got responses everytime. Don't forget it's the beginning of growing season for outdoors. These dudes are probably rending their crops just like we are. They responded back to me in march or so. I'll try and track down the email.

There cool look on youtube. They have old school genetics that have been passed down in that area.

And for the price, you can't really complain.

Anyone that charges more for there regular beans than fems is good in my book.

And you should stop being such a genetic stickler, you know what the parents were, and if you googled it you could have figured it out

first off thakns for that link. verry helpful.(where did you see that they claimed to use DJ shorts blueberry?)
second i wouldn't call myself a "breeder" but i enjoy breeding mj and i feel my request for information is reasonable.
3rd im not trying to be a "genetic stickler" i know the parents yes.i have googled .But there is still a plethera of information i can obtain buy talking to a representative of ET.
i have e-mailed a number of company's to ask the origin of some strains and they usually tell me strait out. it came from this seed company or that one.

It's all there.

According to the site the blueberry F2 is used in the super sour og

the blueberry F2 is dj shorts blueberry. it his blueberry line F1 x his HTAF F1 male

If you want the holy grail then what you do is grow everything. I have started a test grow of the super sour og and it is some super super vigorous stuff. Ive grown many different breeders og strains and og crosses and this is one is the best in the grow stage. So far great smell and sets are close but with enough room to let light threw. Plants right now are 6 weeks from seed . I started 5 and all 5 popped in 3 to 5 days. All five are uniform no differences in leaf shape , color or smell with just a very small variation in size with my smallest at 14 inches and my tallest at just over 18 inches . Plants are not as sensative with nutes as the parents blueberry or OG. Sets are uniform and the growth is like a critical mass plant as far as structure. I can tell due to my experiance that this is going to be a good producer and with a smell like this in the grow stage its going to be some super tasty stuff. If I'm not mistaken wasn't the chem dawg #4 taken from bag seed?! Just a little advice if your nice to people and don't talk down to them you will get alot farther in your task of trying to get someone to help you.

I don't mean to beat a dead horse, i just wanted to give a heads up.
I finally got these guys to respond "I forwarded your questions to the breeders responsible for those strains and they told me they had answered your questions"
I asked politely when and how they supposedly talked to me and i was told.
"I can only apologise that they haven’t gotten back to you, I have been told they had, I’ve just sent them a less than gentle e-mail to sort their shit out and answer your questions.

Sorry again for the delay.

ET

so i dunno. i have no problem with the beautiful plants that germed right away and have thicker then pencil stems and 6-8 branches at 4" in 22 days
i just feel as a customer i should have been treated different.
