sativas are my fav !! i like em all, jus most of em shitty to grow lol...i wanna do a original haze grow...but i always pussy out when it comes time to grab the beans lol 100 days is a long fucking time lol.....thats 2 C99 grows lol

I do prefer a good Indica, but...i've always preferred downers :-P
Sativa's are nice too, pity there isn't much around to smoke anymore....
For the exact reasons you 2 just cited, you can get 2 grows in the time it takes for 1 good sativa, and it's not as much a yielder as indica is.

weel better yields but potency is in both..its the THC profiles on the sativas i love..that trippy adrenaline rush lol im an adrenaline junkie so it fits my bill lol

I hear ya, but i noticed thier makin a comeback now...theres alot more haze/thai hybrids out now...but yeah thats why they took a hit ...the flower time and yields made indicas the norm. I actualy remember when sativas were dominant lol alota mexican and columbians....i miss those weeds.

I do like a strong indica to tho..at night and stuff..but day time it kills my day lol

haha thanks man.....yea these get pretty purple, its just the genetics and phenotypes tho really. You can buy these at the auctions from Outlaw Grower, except the Magic Monkeys, those were bred by a friend. thanks for stoppin by

That's just about it.

I can see it being helpful with outside grows, While the other foliage is turning brown and falling off the trees, MJ usually stays bright green, With the color change, it wont stick out.
Not sure if the color has anything to do with pest and mold resistance, but my purple strains are high in that aspect.

also just thought about it, the purple strains are probably more resistant to colder temps too.

purple plants are usually sweeter in taste...the trade off is sometimes potency over the green ones...but they taste nice and look real good

I never really noticed any real practical difference between purp's and other strains. Just bag appeal to have high potency, with a completely different color. Which is what helped the purple traits stay around, as we enjoy breeding things like that. However, in the last few decades, it's been crossed with SO many things in so many ways, most "purple" strains, even pure ones, don't always turn purple. So you may VERY WELL be buying some purps, even if it isn't the color purple. I've seen a dozen different levels and types of purple's on buds, it's a beautiful, but uncertain thing. ;-)
