First Time Grower, DWC & CFL Advice Needed Please!

Hi there folks!

Ok so im new at this but was wanting to try growing for a long time, so I did. Im currently on start of week 5 out of 8.5-9 of flowering and was hoping you could offer any advice on anything thats going wrong that I cant see.

I'm a little worried that the buds aren't all that fat yet, there's lots of flower sites and some of the buds look okish but still a little on the small side - i've read on a few posts on here that as my plant is mainly indica that there will be a fattening / swelling period in the last few weeks - is this correct?

Any help or advice would be great! here's some pictures so you can see whrre I'm at...Thanks folks!!!!!!

Hey masp84, how we doin?

It's Double Berry (Mazari Sharif x Skunk #1) I just liked the sound of it and its supossed to taste good so thought id give her a try.

Yeah she did take till about 2-3 weeks into flowering to start showing white hairs to be honest.... so is this quite normal then?

They're at week 4 and just starting to bud. They built the whole budding structure first before showing pistils. LSD is also Mazar x Skunk #1 thus the similar treats I think, very beautiful plants don't you think? Btw look at your plant like she's actually starting week 4

Hey, Yeah they are pretty, the leaves around the budds are glistening and the top fanleaves they all stand upright at about 50 degrees like a sun funnel lol!

just started week 5 with nutrient change yesterday, on vitalink max (25ml a, 25 ml b) and buddy (20ml) only vegged her for 3 weeks though as i was worried about having enough light with only 1 cfl for vegging (will be gettin a few more vegging bulbs shortly for the next one).

Hopefully she will fatten up some in the next few weeks before the final flush and harvesting.

So how's your ladies doing then?

I'll take more pictures tonight she was topped for 2 main colas and it's overall green and healthy. Had some white-fly infestation but it's under control now.. She was vegged 2 months from seed in 24/0, and it's been 40 days since flip to 12/12, she took 3 weeks to come out of the transition stage though.. I think she has at least 4 or 5 more weeks to go.

Nice! They're looking healthy and short internodal spacing too. Looks like you're going to get a nice little yield just off that one baby, so you using hps / mh?

I wanted to veg mine for longer but my timer broke on me and didnt turn the light back on for about 11 hours so I figured I may as well just switch to 12/12 from the 18/6 cycle she was on. Was gutted but thats what you get for buying a cheap timer I guess.

I'll update with some more pics shortly too, I topped mine at about 2 1/2 weeks and ended up with 6 tops which is nice!
