Looks like there's some webbing on one of the leaves in this picture. Straight across from the bud, leaf in the middle on the far left side. Not hatin' just letting you know if you didn't see it. Mites are a bitch! This is such a beautiful plant and I feel bad seeing it struggle with mites

Glad to hear you're trying a new treatment. I know you'll be tons happier with your grow once those fuckers are gone!I was curious though how you acquired the strain. Is this your own breeding project or did you get lucky enough to get a hold of the Floja strain before it disappeared? I only ask because I want one. It's so pretty!
Not trying to pressure you, I just think the color of those buds are incredible! And I really want to add it to my garden... The only purple I ever see around here is only half purple, kinda molted purple really. Couple calyxes here or there, but not the whole bud like that!

thanks man.. it was NOT a big yielder at all.. but i dint veg for that long.. and im sure the spider mites didnt help at all either. lil bastards!! and yeaa ive just always wanted to try northern lights.. ever since i 1st started smokin.. soo i figured id finally give it a try. and im deff glad i did! its very nice. and an early finisher too. 49 days. =) the only real classics ive grow is northern lights and white widow. adn both were GREAT!

im lookin at the pics adn i cant really see any webbing... but im sure there probly is sum sumwhere.. =/ i noticed a couple on hte sensi star. i have all teh plants out right now and plan on doing sum of the treatment right now.. actually... i was jsut readin the bottle adn it sais its best to do it at night right b4 the lights go out so that the leaves dont burn.. =/ well since i have them all out tho.. im gonna go around with a napkin and wipe down the leaves and try killin off as many as i can right now. and then do the treatment around 6 30. adn trust me.. i hate seein this plant suffer from them as well. its actually doin pretty good tho. deff has sum bug/mite resistance in its genes cuz not many mites are on this plant compared to others.
and yeaa i got lucky enough to get sum of these seeds from a friend on here after they disappeared. adn yeaa its the same around here... the only purple strains u see round here are one that have a purple calax here athere well actually its usually just teh leaves that are purple. not even the buds...
and we'll see how this breeding project goes. i have 2 clones goin and am collecting more pollen adn plan on growin out a couple more soon adn try to get an all purple male. since this male is only pushin out a few purple balls here and there. i wanna keep this strain alive and keep crossing. adn then back crossing adn eventually get a stabilized strain. ill keep u in mind tho. dont worry. =)

No worries, it sounds like you are on it. Good plan to pre-squish! When we had mites (two different times! bleh!) I also did that to try and help kill off as many as I could before and during treatment. I don't know if it helped, probably did. We're 4ish + months mite free!
Lucky you! I hate the fakey purple they try to push around here. Usually it's not half as dank as most of the other stuff and they try to get more $$ from it. Most likely it's some random strain with a hint of purple genetics. I've heard of people around here even dying their buds to "purple" them.... lame-o's!
So awesome that you're working to preserve the strain! <3 + rep for that man! I look forward to being able to add some of Chris' Floja to my garden! Hopefully I can find a way to repay the favor! If we ever get a hermie, we plan to keep it and bag it so we can get some pollen to play with too! We've got some killer strains and a couple are a clone only deal so it'd be nice to be able to play with their seed! Maybe we can get a trade going and I can fedex a cutting or something of one of these clone only's if I don't get any pollen. Though the matanuska has been known to hermie so we could get lucky with that. I'm not going to try to hermie, but if we do, no big!

shit dude kickass update! your pretty loaded up lol. The GGs are lookin fine.....thats about the stage mine started to get hungry, mine are good eater, they look identical to yurs righ tnow jus alil older. They will start o get soem mad side shoots soon to. I had to top em the other day at node 7....strating to presex now at day 32 of 24/0. I got this Sub'd so we can compare notes lol. They seem pretty stable sofar, not much variance in the GG and there all sexy lol. Im about to take some pixs and post em up on mine. Stay tuned lol

gave it a treatment last night. goin to be taking them out soon adn see how therye doin. the stuff stinks tho!! smells like vicks vapor rub... very minty adn strong smell.... 1 bad thig tho..... it kinda looks like this spray may have damaged the white hairs... seem slike alot of them shriveled up and turned red/orange. not 100% sure if it was the spray.. but idk.. just seems odd that i spray it with that.. adn the hairs all shrivel up. ill post sum pics up 2day or 2morrow adn show ya wat i mean.
i just went in there adn looked.. and so far it looks pretty good actually... see a few bodies.. but theyre not movin. =D ive been in there lookin for about 10 mins and so far havent seen any? ill do a better cehck later. but for now looks pretty good!
my cloning technique is pretty simple. but works out pretty good. i just get a razor blade. cut off a branch. its best to cut the clone about 1/4 inch below a node.. lay the branch on the table and make sure its cut at a 45 degree angle. and u wanna pull off any growth that is at the node u just cut below... since that will be going into the soil... i also drag the razor blade GENTLY along the bottom 1/2 inch of the clone. just enough to get the 1st layer of skin odd. seems to help promote root growth.
i then put it in a cup of water for a few minutes while i prepare the cloning powder. i just went to lowes adn got sum rooting powder (ive heard gel works better.. but ive never used it soo idk for sure). i then get a piece of paper. pour sum powder on it and roll the end of the clone in it. depending on how big the clone is depends on how far up the stem i go.... i usually put the powder on 1/2 of whats gonna go in the dirt. i also feel like the more the stem is in the soil the better. seems to make it sturdier and give it a better chance at rooting.
then i usually cut all the big fan leaves in 1/2 (each individual finger gets cut in 1/2) that makes the plant focus on new growth. rather than old growth... adn thats about it. jsut keep it nice and moist. i dont use any humidity dome.. i have not had success with them. i just make sure to spray it generously a couple times a day and thats it....
hope this helps. im a lil high sooo i was havin a hard time explaining my method.. sorry. if u have any other question just ask man. and i have about a 90% success rate... i was at 100% until i took those 2 big warlock clones.. and they both died. idk why tho. =/

The hairs turning might not be a bad thing. I've heard that after calyx die off you can usually expect a decent bud boosting. Glad to hear it's having an impact on the nasties! How often are you planning on treating? You should see any eggs hatching within 7 days. So keep that in mind.

looking real good bro! do you always clone in flower? how long it take to root those things? ive had experience with revegging and it takes forever....
i like to use azatrol for spider mites. the permethrin bombs are effective as well. hit em with a bomb...this will take the numbers down, then spray with azatrol. it has never let me down. i found spider mites in my garden once after using this shit. there was a ton of spider mites all stuck on one leaf. i flipped out. i flushed the leaf and tried to find more spider mites, couldnt find any. i think i must of missed that leaf or something.

So you just cut then shave like a spear at the cut and use powder, then right into wet soil? What is your success ratio? I do it the same way as you but I use rapid rooters and gel on my clones and I have a rubbermade container that I keep rooting water in there for the rapid rooters to suck up as needed. My problem is that I have a humidity dome "Plastic wrap" over the top and moving them out of there and transfering them to soil is becomming a pain in the ass! I do however have about a 98% success ratio though. I am just looking for an easier way to just slap some clones in some soil and let them ride! LOL I guess I am just scared to try it due to me not wanting to kill my clones! I hate when my plants don't do well or clones. I am sure everyone knows WTF I am talking about.

ok guys i was told the blueberry came from seedDr.com......? any1 ever heard of it.? i cant find any website called that? lol. idk. wierd. i dont think hes screwin me or nuthin tho. he had a decent list of strains. adn they were all real strains. i trust him.... i just dont know where to find the website?
