Libertarian is the only logical party ATM. Not sure about the Tea Party people, never really looked into it. I'm conservative on money, more liberal on everything else. Less government, the better we all are.
Tea-Partiers are greedy Libertarians in many ways imo. They preach the right concept, but if there's a common resource(food, water, OIL, TOBACCO, ALCOHOL, etc) they want to own it all and sell it to you and i. Not cool imho.

Interesting. If that's true, then hell no, that aint good. Just window dressing on the underlying problem. Truth be told, I'm very concerned we are gonna be in some deep shit soon. I'm trying to get ready. This thread has now been hijacked.

i agree though, it's getting ready to hit the fan. The dollar is being replaced as the Global Reserve Currency as we speak. Once it happens, it's going to be time to pay our debts. And that isn't going to be pretty. CAN be survived and even peaceful if level heads and basic human morals are applied. BUT i don't see that as a liklihood in this day and age unfortunately.

Well said. No, I'm afraid its gonna be ugly. Hope for the best, prepare for the worst. Wish I had planned better 10 years ago.
Me too. i'm 37 with a wife and 11 year old son. i have a friend who started investing in "heavy metals" about 10 years ago. Like lead, a smelt, moulds, primers, brass.........

Guess where MY alliances stand when the fan starts spreading the shit?

Wouldn't be much of a guess. I have a future father in law that is well prepared. My goal now is to follow his lead and hope I can be ready. Problem is, I'm almost 30, transitioning careers, and living paycheck to paycheck. One day at a time though. Ill definately be bunkered with him.

And you really think the growers have no right to make a profit? The OP was SELLING it to the fucking dispensary, should he sell it for $5 a gram? Or just double cost? Or should he just break even?

This is a ridiculous statement, and is the reason cannabis cannot become legal. It needs to be treated as a business, and business people who produce popular wares deserve to make a profit. If they're profiteering either dont buy from them or grow your own, but dont bitch cos people are making money off it and you think "its too expensive".

Who the fuck is anyone here to try tell people what to sell their pot for, do you go to Burger King and tell them they should lower the price of their burgers? No, because they'd tell you to politely either pay for the meal or go fuck yourself.

If you want a product pay for it or make/grow your own, dont parade around the internet bitching that someone had the initative to set up a business and are making a profit.
Weed is over priced, people are just greedy! $15-20 grams are fucking outrageous!

So grow your own and dont buy it ;)

And budlover, I thought you were implying dropping all prices to $5 a gram! Yeah man, we should be able to buy cheap and pricey stuff.

It seems things are changing fast aswell...anyone seen anything about this: http://www.virgin.com/richard-branson/blog/rethinking-global-drug-policies
It seems we've ALOT of support on our side, Branson has a fucking spaceship of his own, if he wants something, people CANNOT say no!

That Branson article was interesting. And i agree, it's men like him we need to get on our side. Independently wealthy(while doing many philanthropic works), brilliant business mind, progressive, professional, and all with a nice little flair. B/c he is after all SIR Richard Branson, yes?

What did Fred do? Why were they shut down?
Fred ordered mad weight more then ever before and immediatey canceled his cell and moved out with the meds to Arazona where they are starting another club.

He shut down as they were deemed "Menace to society"

Good read. What was this about?: (2) Any and all commercial advertising of the sales, distribution, and use of marijuana, except for medical marijuana and products that contain less than one percent THC. This provision shall be enforced hereafter by penalties to be set forth by the Legislature. Are wineries prohibited from advertising? I must be missing something.

Well i did grow for a while and it was beautiful but cant at the moment... Luckily i got a good hook for 100$ half zips...

I mean i understand that it's some people's living and what not but some of these patients are so ass backward's by medical bills that the cant afford to pay that much for top shelf when that's what they really need. I mean growing good weed doesnt really cost anymore then growing shitty weed... Maybe a little but not much.

i believe the logic behind that is to keep every tom dick and harry from deciding to plaster the walls, billboards, buses, tv, radio, etc. More of a concession to the non-smokers than a necessary regulation. BUT, if you supply cannabis to a medical patient you have by definition grown and vended medical cannabis. The UNDER 1% is to protect products such as shampoos and soaps that are infused with hemp.

Note they say commercial advertising. i'm not an advertiser but that tends to denote that there is a way to advertise "non-commercially" to me.

The funny thing is that we will probably never see the day when the MEDICAL community whole-heartedly accepts it and our healthcare costs plummet.

We might when the whole system collapses and a paradigm shift is necessary. Who knows? Medicine has done a LOT of good the past 30 years. It has been at a steep price though.
