Is This an Ok Setup for My Extraction?

Hi, just ordered a few bits to combat the high temp in my growing area when lit. Got a cooltube and a 4" Ruck Fan incoming, im just wondering is I can set it up as shown, or if ill need more power to shift the heat through the filter and the light (another extractor) or maybe an air in fan ?

them bends in the line is going to kill the fan. Best bet is to try and get it all in a straight line if u can. The more bends the more cfm's you loose.

I dont think ive got the space, the cupboard is only 3ft deep.. its gonna be a big bend aswell because its gonna have to adjust with my light.. would it help if I put the fan at the back to split that bend into 2x90 degrees instead of a 180 or would that be counterproductive because of the extra distance between the filter and the fan ?

I would say that if you could do something diagonal across the top you would be better off cramming them closer together. At most you want 1 rolling 90 or a street 90 curve in your ducting. You should also consider using rigid ducting and insulating it, also if you eliminated all the ducting between the fan and the cool tube you might be better off.

i will be using rigid ducting for the bend(s) ofc, i reckon ill still have to put a <90 degree bend if i go diagonal, i havent got the bits yet so can't test it out. Maybe i'm overestimating the size of the cooltube, it looked massive (compared to the bulb) on the photo. Dont suppose anyone knows the dimensions off the top of their head ? lol

Just looked a bit further into requirements, according to the standard formula i need a 48m3/h fan (inc filter and standard ducting), the fan im getting is 220m3/h, is the bend gonna make that much difference ?

My intake is a single passive 4".

Could always put the carbon filter in the corner going vertical and than throw a 90 into the cool tube that would cut down on some drag

maybe you can get some better info on that site.
TBH id rather have the fan blowing the hotter air out and also ensure that the smell is removed, aslong as the cfm is enough. Which it is from further theoretical understanding I have decided it is :D Its the intake that is in question now.

I guess I just need to wait for my stuff to arrive and find out for sure. Now I remember what christmas was like as a child.
