Okay,

So I'm trying gain some knowledge with using nutes, which I began a few days ago. I am coming across things like nute burn is a myth and all this and that. Can someone please set me straight and if nute burn is real (which I would think it is) can anyone show me some pictures so I can start learning what the difference is between a deficiency. Thanks guys. Hey check out my journal bud pictures are starting to get nicer to look at!

Nute burn is fo real. They gonna find you, hide ya kids.

Organics are a great learning curve until you learn how to communicate with the plant since the likelihood for nute burn is much less. Try reading some of the threads in the newb section of the forum or diagnosing plant problems.

Right on. Had to introduce nutes before I wanted. That AK of mine needed them horribly and I didn't/don't have the time to research it as much as I would have liked before use. Anyone got a good nute crash-course thread they made or anyone know of one in existence? As always thanks for the helping hands, my ladies reap the benefits of the support.

P.S. I dropped my lights down to 12/12 today to get those Strawberry Coughs flowering. They've been vegging since March 8th, so a solid two months. Autos are still coming along nicely IMHO. I'd appreciate the visit to my grow journal, lemme know what you guys think of the gals. I anticipate I'll be able to harvest the first of the autos in maybe 3 weeks? fingers crossed.

good luck wuth your project, myself i prefer to stick to one occasionally two strains at most, because strains differ so much inasfaras requirements for water, humidity, nutes, and all the other variables, not to mention that i doubt if i could smoke and keep track of whats what, i try to keep it as simple as i can then it dosnt matter if i forget something, because i forget stuff all the time em, just forgot what else i was going to say. anyway good luck

So I lost 3 of my strawberry coughs, jokers. So I'm back up to 18/6 on my lights. I am planning on vegging out my lady SC for about a month (my autos will be cleared out by then) and then put her back into flower, hopefully filling up my while 4x4 tent. Need some advice on a couple things:

1. I'd like to trim off the stretch that happened in the couple days while she was in 12/12. Bad idea?

2. I was going to wait a week to "super crop" but need some more info from you guys. Can someone clarify how far down from the top I should use as the first site to do this? Shes been vegging for 8 weeks already so shes rather large. And then am I just squeezing every branch basically at the same vertical level I first establish with the first site?

Would really appreciate someone that knows whats up with this. thanks guys.

It's been a bit but here's my STP all chem nutes all sunshine mix in a #3 nursery pot , going to see how I finish in a #3 now and save some space them 5 gallon plants rub the wall too much and shake hands with each other for me . Currently at 1 1/4 Tsp Jacks 20-20-20,1/4 Tsp ProTek,1 Tsp Calmag PLus . I'm about to run out of Jacks Classic and will be going with Dyna Gro Foilage PRo , so it can only get better . Sooner or later I'll make it over to American Clay and get the sack of Jacks 20-10-20 I like having Jacks on hand awesome product .

Those are all looking great guys.:leaf:

I made it rain on the Dark Star and finished with a lite 1/4 tsp. Jacks/quart.
It's staying with a tight inter-node spacing.

Crickets!

I just popped a Sannies El Monstre into flower and trained her, she's in Subcool's Super Soil. I will try to get a couple pics up soon! My temps are running high with the warm weather, I need to hook up my icebox attachment sooner than later.

Going to wait a while to add another Sannies, Maybe I will throw in a Killing Fields since she takes so long to finish. I read today that KF basically veges for another 2 weeks in flower.

I have a couple trees vegging that I'm pruning for flower. WW and Crystal. The Crystal is showing her bud sites already and she's going to be a budding beast.

Hoping to see some buds showing up in here soon, bring on some prOn people!

Pics 1 and 2 are Ice about 28 days in maybe a bit less. Not one of my favorite strains but I've had mixed results with my limited experience. Pics 3 and 4 are Sannies Seeds El Monstre 5 days into flower, potted in Subcool's Super Soil. Her tops are yellowing a bit but she looks very healthy otherwise. Not sure what her issue is if any yet, she's growing fast as hell and seems happy.
