If there's only one port, and you connect a fan to this port to pull hot air out of the cab, the air has to come in from somewhere. With no glass in place, the hot air will be pulled in from your grow space, through the fixture, and up and out through the ducting and exhaust fan. If you have glass in place, where will the air be pulled in from? If the glass is sealed tightly in the fixture, and you have no other openings, you'd just be creating a vacuum in your light fixture.

Most air-cooled hoods have an input and an output port (usually on the sides). The glass seals the fixture, so air is pulled in through the intake port and is exhausted (along with the heat generated by the lamp) out through the other port. There has to be some kind of opening for air to be pulled in, if you're going to exhaust warm air from your lamp. With no glass in place, you have an opening.

Maybe your fixture has some vents on the side? That might help a little, but still would probly restrict air flow.
yeah mine has vents on both sides, ill try with and without the glass and we will see what happens

Thats not heat....
I see Mg def for sure but everything I'm only partially sure about.
I'm pretty sure there's some over-fertilization there.
Idk, looks like multiple nutrient problems due to pH problems/salt build-up
im gonna test the ph and see what it is

make sure the air you pull through your light is going through a filter
widows can stink really bad in flower m8,

i would attach your fan on to the duct hole that is in your light run the ducting without too many bends into another room if you can an attach the carbon filter on the end the ducting run if you can the shorter the run of ducting the better fan will loose performance over long distance an too many bends,

you might do better off just putting the carbon filter at the top of your grow space so it will suck all the heat plus clean your air an just have a small fan blowing on the light,
put some small holes in the bottom of your grow chamber so the fan/filter combo will pull fresh air in to create a negative pressure this will also aid in preventing smell to escape in vegg you might not need to run the carbon filter just exhaust fan obviously if you start to smell attach the filter to your fan

I have a 400watt HPS and it has the glass covering the light, and i do not use ventilation because my grow is no secret. It gets its ventilation from my home air conditioner like I do.
In my opinion the glass helps block the heat from dispersing right onto the plants. But its all preference. I read somewhere that a 250watt HPS should be at least 3 feet from the tops of the plants.

TragicGrower, I think you should yank down your reflector, load it into your Fiesta, and haul it to the dump. Kick back and then buy ganj from people who have a clue about it. Don't tax yourself.

hey guys just wanted to let you all know that i found out my problem, i recently transplanted into soil that had nutes in it because i recently ran out of FFOF and im not trying to pay $40 for another bag because i have to have it shipped. i got some MG organic it had very little nutes in it and also got MG perlite which also had very little nutes in it, i mixed 3.1 soil perlite and ill probably flush the soil before i plant anything in it
