This is a teaser, we have created a proof of concept. now making version 1.0.
in the mean while a little background. Electronic cigs are an alternative to real ciggaretes they are NOT a tabbacco product, just an 'e-juice' consisting of proplyne glycol or vegetable glycerine, flavoring, and niccotine. essentially its a nicotine delivery system that simulates real cigs without any odor, smoke or combustion.



the Atomizer is a 'vaporizer' element that is activated either by pressing a button or simply inhaling. my model is the joyce 510 one of the smaller less powerful devices. though these vary greatly in style and price from $20 - $250+.

I have heated up some propylne glycol wich is alcohol based, and melted some bubble hash into it. after some cooling down and stirring i removed the wick from the flavor cartridge and dip it into the glycol hash solution. stick it back in and eureka! your in business. this small dose of hash shared between a friend gave us a mild buzz. but this time im stepping it up a bit. i am making some butane hash oil and using a bettwer wick, stronger atomizer.

smoking this is sorta like a voporizer but with significantly less taste, there is practically no smell at all either. if you hold in the hit you barely exhale any vapor. perfect for stealth tokin' think concerts, parks, on the streets, at wal mart. e-cigs are legal to smoke indoors, did i mention NO SMELL!

yeah and if weed was legal i wouldn't roll up doobies either, i'd pick them up at kwiki-mart. unfortunatly i still live in a police state. gotta Do that shIt Yo'self

so i made the oil. i built an extractor tube. i purchased a stainless steel grab bar, like you would see in a handicap bathroom. i got the shortest one and cut out the middle section. cut up a re-useable coffee filter, hose-clamped that to the end. a 1" pvc cap fit snug over the other end, drilled a hole in that and your good to go.




the bud i used was some very stemmy bud from a batch of nirvana's northern lights. i think a combo of light leaks and nute burn caused some mutations. either way the bud sucks to break up so i grinded it in a coffee grinder and fit about 24 grams in the tube.



i used some inferno 4x refined butane from a local smoke shop, spray it through the tube. and prepare the BHO as usual. purge for an hour or so.



i sampled some of this oil on a joint.... holy god damned that shit is AWESOME!
this was my first time making and sampling hash oil, and i loved it!

well from 24gs of stemmy bud i only got 1g of oil. i think i plan on dissolving all of that oil with as little Proplyne Glycol as possible. im just waiting on my buddy now, hes got the Glycol, he also has some flavors we may try mixing in.

Glad I manged to find this trend, I'm the friend mentioned and would like to add my input. As a non cigarette smoker from the first time I saw an e-cigarette I was determined to find a way to use this as a joint. I was amazed at how easy this was to accomplish, keeping in mind I wasn't present for the actual THC extraction from my own experience and what Insomnia47 explained it was quite the easy process. Simply mix the oil with Proplyne Glycol as mentioned and walla you have your eLiquid with THC. The first time I was quite skeptic and really didn't feel much, after about an hour of using the eJoint as I like to call it we started to feel a buzz, once we accepted that it was actually working and our guard was let down we realized it was very good to keep a high but not so good to get high. This was a very weak mixture, the second time we mixed a much stronger mixture (You'd have to wait for Insomnia for approximate measurements as he was supplying so I wanted him to make the actual mixtures, he also has a few pictures coming i think). After only a few hits I started to feel a slight buzz. 10 minutes later I realized I was baked. Our eJoint was created. I've since shown it to a few friends who have said they felt a buzz off it as well and I've also tested it next to a few friends who don't smoke who said they could smell no sent from it.

One thing I want to make note of is I haven't smoked cigarettes for a few years and Insomnia is currently only a few weeks without. That being said I hated the taste of the eJoint UNTIL I added flavoring. Went to my local grocery store and picked up some peppermint extract, added only a drop or two (We did it after it was already soaked in the wick, I may add more in the future) and the taste was gone. This also prompted me to add the peppermint extract to a watered down Proplyne Glycol for some casual smoking when I'm already high, very nice if your like me and simply like the act of smoking.

Anyone know at what temp those atomizers in the e-cigs operate? I've read that it's only around 120-140 deg F, but that would be way too low for most cannabinoids.

so sorry for the long delay, but without further adoo-

so the BHO was fantastic maybe partially responsible for my absence. what we did is took a quarter gram of the oil put it in a shot glass and then added about 10 ml of propylne gylcol.

here are the tools of the trade



we put the shot glass with oil/glycol mixture on a pan and heated it up for a few minutes, stirring ocaisonally. the oil dissolved and diluted into the glycol in about 5 minutes. let it cool a bit. we cleaned out some eye-droppers for storage. you wanna really clean the shit outtta these cause eye drop solution is poisonous to everything but your eyes. :-?



we split about 5ml each of MJuice®

all you have to do with this liquid is drip about 4-6 drops in the cartridge and 2 on the atomizer to keep it lubed, they can't go dry.

i take 3 heavy hits in a row and hold them in for 5-8 seconds. i get pretty high, but it doesnt "weigh" down on you like smokin blunts and bongs does. and it doesnt last super long. but its a start!

----------upgrades for version 1.5--------
*using a LR 306atomizer, its the same threading as the 510, but is Low Resistance so it burns warmer. the 306's burn slightly warmer than the 510's as well.

as mentioned about i believe the low heat is a bit inefficient, if you warm it up a bit firrst the hits are better. but then you risk burning out the atomizer.

They can vary from 100 to 600 degrees. Your best bet is a partial decarb. Run the batch at 180-190 for 20-25 minutes. Then part of the decarbing is done during that and the atty heat decarbs more of it. It adds an analgesic property and you feel it in your body as well. I keep seeing everyone a mix ratio of 2/3. That's just silly. One ounce blast can yeald enough bho to blend into 110-120 mls of base liquid. Let that infuse at 190 for 25 minutes.
