A Lot of Cool People are Banned!

Shit as long as im throwing out ideas, hows about fixing the ignore function.

I used to ignore the assholes(takes one to know one) but it still shows them posting, just says something like "this message is hidden"

or if someone iquotes the person you have on ignore it still shows up on your screen and you can read their message..

I got a couple people on ignore in this thread but when someone qoutes them, bam I can still read what they said... shit whats the point of even having an ignore function.

How about having all the rules in one spot, Instead of rules being made up or enforced at random
Remember when thecrypt made a thread about getting infractions, They got reversed cause the other mods realized the infraction he had been given were bullshit...

The very same ones that should know the rules by now and won't isn't tolerated?

The problem isn't a lack of folks who know the RIU ropes, the problem is no active mods.... even the regulars know when FDD goes away; then you start seeing "fuck you" posts...

You guys can blame it on newbs all you want, I see more older members abusing others more than anything.... This thread was a perfect example....

It's a shame to see all the complaints against a single moderator keep stacking up. Now he is fighting with another moderator in a public thread that was supposedly closed. He just doesn't know when to give up or shut up. I'm tired of watching him abuse other members and hand out BS infractions. I'm tired of pointing this crap out to other moderators.

Now, please explain to me, what that post has to do with legitimate infractions and abusing others? We aren't talking about BS infractions in this thread, until you bring it up. The discussion is about a rule that the OP doesn't like. I don;t have a case of brown nose, I do however have a good handle on reading comprehension. Let me know if you need some tutoring in it.

The thread you linked in your post was started because FDD was publicly fighting with PotRoast for reversing a BS infraction. It has nothing to do with handing out legitimate infractions, but nice try...

He has stated before that he's been one to say things like that and has decided to steer away from it. While he might have bashed mods in the past, he's gotten his infractions for it and he's decided to change how he goes about posting, no big deal, call it brown-nosing or whatever you want. The original intent of this petition was to bring attention to the abuse from the trolls around here, no matter how another member goes about trying to do that, we can hopefully all agree that we want this to be less of a negative bitching at each other forum and more of a fun, being able to take jokes and flack type forum.

Can I just vote for Perot? I think he CAN be a good mod and he CAN be a bad mod, it just depends on how the people he has to deal with decides to react. I don't agree with some infractions or bans he's given but I do understand being a Mod is probably quite an annoying job. I wouldn't want to have people constantly bitching at me and trying to tell me how to do my job so I can understand how he can get frustrated.

why is ok for fdd to call someone names, but others get infractions/banned for things that arn't in the rules....

Example of Fdd calling someone a name, then dissing out infractions for the same thing.

How much do you see folks bitching about potroast, gogrow, widow don't come around these parts anymore(guess why) or GardenKnown.

Maybe one complaint a year for the other mods IF that...

, fdd its like a weekly thing, maybe its cause the other mods enforce the rules and actually follow them..

Go check out speedyseedz, or the other forum off shoots and ask them owners why they all left here, it was because of Fdd, and ONLY cause of fdd..

If you want to discuss bad infractions, post that link on my thread complaining about FDD's tactics.... This thread is about people being banned for abusing and attacking others.... I'm not saying FDD is right, I'm merely stating that we are discussing the abuse rule and the OP wanted it changed or removed so he could lash back at trolls. the ONLY mod I know of currently handing out infractions is FDD, or he was.... whether those that were banned and allowed back were improperly banned doesn't seem to be the point of this thread. No one has said anything about not deserving the infraction they received. That certainly wasn't on any of the pages I've read.

alot of people got issues with fdd..... i dont... fade is cool has fuck.. to bad too many cats are too ignorent enough to find out..... then they take it super personal when they get an infraction or ban when he is only doing his job..... then take it even furthur and wonder why fdd then takes it personal... i dont agree with everything he does... but for the most part i do.... everybody just be cool.. dont start no shit wont be no shit!!!!
